Cute coastal cottage close to beach and downtown nightlife.

Our cottage has everything you need for a tropical getaway! Recently renovated and with brand new furnishings, it is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy all the amenities and entertainment Florida has to offer.
The front yard is quite cosy with a fence and tropical folliage making it private from the neighbors, and has a sitting area near the palm tree that is illumanted at night. The back yard also has generous cosy sitting area with a couch, chairs, ottomans and a grill, illuminated dusk till dawn. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a formal living room in the front, and a breakfast and family room area with a spaceous sectional in the back.
The living room and the family room are equipped with 65" TVs, and our wireless wi-fi and high-speed internet allows for seamless connection to all the commonly used streaming apps.
In case you need to work from your home away from home, there is a computer desk in one of the closets and an office chair - both are on wheels so that you can easily move them to an area that you deem most convenient for you to work during your stay.
The location is perfect and close to everything that you might need while you are visiting the area! There is a convenience store at the end of the street that you literally can walk to! Walgreens is a 2-min drive away, there are 2 Publix stores (grocery) and Walmart within 10 minutes, and Martin Memorial Hospital is just a few blocks away.
And of course the main reason to visit Florida is ocean and beaches - well, there are 8 public beaches within 5-15 min drive! The cottage is about 5-min drive away from downtown Stuart with restaurants, shops, art and craft shows and all the nightlife buzz. The Indian Riverside park with a water fountain and children's museum, Langford park with basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, and Elliot Museum are all just a few minutes away.

The house was fine, a little musty smell at times. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items from pots to knives, sliverware and most glasses. From the photo it looks like it is a cottage and not a duplex which is my one objection, as I found it a bit misleading. The location works well as it is close the historic area of Stuart and close to most stores. Both front and back yards were a plus, especially the seating in the back yard. Overall I was content with the stay. Great communication with the owner too. Thank you!

This property was okay - I just felt that there wasn't much effort in making it quaint and comfortable. Also, many creature comforts of a B&B were not available; for example no kleenex, non-efficient air conditioner, flickering lights or drier sheets. The host did explain how to fix the "strobe" lights but I shouldn't have had to call - quite simply the lights should have been working when I arrived. I did get to speak with the host who was courteous and professional. However, I would not stay at this property again.

Beautiful

The perfect place to stay for a get away! Clean fully renovated home. We would definitely rent again and recommend to all our friends and family. Perfect location to downtown just about 1.5 miles away. Nice quiet, residential street with no hustle and bustle. Loved it!

Mid March 2024 6 night stay

This is an awesome place, neat, very clean, conveniently located and easy to communicate with property manager. The pictures really don't do it justice as it is very cute, extremely well decorated and spacious. Only two of us stayed. We will stay here again on our next visit to relatives in FL. Only wish it had two bathrooms, but we managed.

The property was very nice very clean. Location seemed great. The beds could’ve been a little softer. And the beach chairs weren’t really beach chairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very nice. Not sure where the fifth person would sleep. One bathroom may be a problem for added people. It was me, husband and his daughter.

Short stay

Cottage was absolutely adorable. The decor was beautiful. If i had to add something it would be a half bath. Also not having a dishwasher was a surprise. In all fairness we were only there 1 and a half days so it didnt affect us too much. I loved the place and highly recommend it.

Pretty and perfect

This is the prettiest place! Everything feels brand new. Just sitting in the delightfully decorated living room feels like you're on a beautiful beach. There are nice 2 seating areas, like a living room and a den, each with a huge TV that you connect to with a Google account or and HDMI cable. The 2 BRs are quiet, airy and bright. No air freshener smell, just clean. Mattresses firm enough for my very picky spouse and comfortable for me. Very cool bathroom. Kitchen is nicely equipped and had every utensil and machine we wanted. There is no dishwasher but that was no problem for us. The landscaping in the front and back yards give you more places to relax and enjoy the lovely plants and flowers. Backyard has a lot of comfy seating and has a charcoal grill and a fire pit, with bundles of wood provided by the host. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming and responded immediately to texts. I can't wait to go back to this perfect oasis.

What a great experience! The cottage is extremely clean with all the comforts of home, inside and outside! I can't say enough about our host! Olga is so pleasant and quick to respond. Our favorite places: Stuart Beach, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Adventure Seafood Market, Shrimpers, Crawdaddy's Grill and Raw Bar, and downrown Stuart.

Me and my husband and our youngest son live in OH, that's where our jobs are, but we love FL because that's where our other children and grandchildren live and we love warm weather, the ocean and boating. This is our vacation home where we stay when we visit the family. It was our long-time dream, that took many many years of hard work, planning and saving.
When you stay at our house, you are not helping us make a profit - you are helping us cover some of the mortgage on what one day will be our retirement home. Thank you.

Besides being close to our 3 children and many grandchildren who live in the area, this neighborhood is in a perfect location - it is quiet, has sidewalks to take a walk around, but it's centrally located close to everything you need - beaches, grocery stores, the mall, downtown Stuart - everything is within 5-15 min drive!

Since this is our home and not just a rental property for profit, we furnished and decorated the house the way we would want our vacation home to be, so that we are comfortable when we stay here 2-8 weeks at a time. We invested in good quality furniture, and chose tropical/ocean themed decor to create a relaxing atmosphere that reminds us every moment that this is a little piece of tropical paradise. We really love our vacation home and enjoy every minute we spend here, and we hope you do as well.
