Located on the largest island in Lake Erie, Kelleys Island is the perfect summer vacation destination. The Venture Resort is the only resort hotel on the island and is located within walking distance to all of the downtown action and island transportation. We offer modern amenities and beautifully appointed suites, each with their own private patio and incredible lake views!
The Iroquois Suite is situated on the second floor of the hotel and has two levels. The first floor contains living and sleeping areas separated by the bathroom. The second or loft level has a spacious bedroom with two queen size beds and a cozy sitting area by the dormer window that overlooks the lake. Each of these units also has access to a common balcony. This unit can sleep up to six adults. The first floor has one queen bed, and the second floor has two queen sized beds side-by-side.
Across the street, the resort offers a three-tiered deck with seating to enjoy the views of Lake Erie, Marblehead Peninsula, and Cedar Point.
The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are scheduled open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool hours are daily 8AM to 9PM.
Parking is available free of charge at the hotel. If you are not bringing a vehicle, golf cart rentals are available on the island and at the ferry docks through miscellaneous vendors.
Please check daily schedules for Miller Ferry, Jet Express and/or Kelley's Island Ferry to arrive on the island. Boat schedules are subject to change based on seasonality and weather conditions. Boat fares are not included with accommodation and must be purchased separately. Kelleys Island Venture Resort has no affiliation with any island transportation venues.
We were looking for a family retreat weekend and choose Kelley’s Island. The hotel said it could accommodate 6 persons but only I bedroom was private. The other areas were on way to only bathroom. Amenities were in place for two people. Light bulbs were blown. Only two chairs in livingroom and no housekeeping despite fee off $600 a night and when checking in I asked for some information and hostess said I have no idea I’m not from here. Last night TV failed. No one in office and luckily my son in law caught her leaving and she told hmm in m how to fix it. No house phones in room and cell phone went to booking.
