Come relax and enjoy Holmes County Amish Country the same way locals do every day. Great location with quick access to Walnut Creek, Winesburg, Sugarcreek, and Berlin. Explore the County roads and beautiful valley of Trail, Ohio.
The Large, open concept Living area and connected kitchen is a great place to hang out playing games and relaxing after a long day of exploring.
The whole group will enjoy easy access to all things Holmes County from this centrally located property.

Note: There is an exterior security Camera on the front (road facing) of the house that monitors access to the private garage.

A homey, relaxed atmosphere

My friend and I were very pleased with Freda's Place. It was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. We loved the coffee bar too. We would highly recommend this lovely place to any who enjoy Amish country and need the perfect get-away place. We plan to return again.

a night in Amish

It's a quiet setting just 3 miles outside of Walnut Creek . well actually in Trail, Ohio.. Nice accommodations, everything you needed for a quiet get away. Like I said 3 miles from Der Dutchman Restaurant, who would ask for anything more.

Lovely Stay

Great Place to Stay!!

Nice and clean!!!

This property is nice and clean, in a peaceful setting. There is road noise, but it subsides. I even slept through a little storm. The beds are comfortable, as is the furniture. The host was very responsive. We were only there one night, but the laundry facilities look great.

Great location and roomy

Four of us stayed at this property (2 couples) and we really liked the roomy layout. The place is very clean and had shower amenities. The shower was nice and warm. Additionally the place has a Keurig and traditional coffee pot, both with supplies. It’s a short drive to many of the areas attractions and easy to get to. We would definitely stay again!

Exceptionally clean and quaint 2-bedroom get-away with all the comforts of home. It’s within 10 minute drive from many Amish Country shopping and dining options. Across from a local store/diner/deli.

Restful getaway

This property is exactly as pictured.. very clean and quiet.. everything we needed and more was readily available.. centrally located to all the small towns.. would stay here again.. you have to try the trail bologna at Troyers.. made and served right across the road

relax in the country

We enjoyed the house and the outdoors on the deck. Everything was very clean and we liked the split bedrooms with open layout of the living area. Look forward to making this place our go to when visiting amish country in the future.

Perfect little country get-a-way!

The place was perfect for what we needed! It’s stylish and spacious very clean and close to many amenities. Property manager was quick to email and welcome us! Highly recommend!

Perfect for what we wanted

Super easy self check-in. Great amenities and we loved the air fryer and coffee bar. Very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Super clean Fun that it’s across from the original trail bologna. The smell from there was a little off putting, but you’re in the country..we loved it! Great start

Very peaceful

My husband and I had a very peaceful stay to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary and attend our friends wedding at Winesburg farm. Everything we could need for the weekend was provided, and everything was very clean and cozy! Would come back if ever in the area again! Only thoughts would be to add a full length mirror somewhere… :) thanks for having us!
