Enjoy our cozy apartment just three miles from I95 and the Easy-pass lane that goes right into Washington, D.C. You will also enjoy easy access to all the shopping, dining, and activities you could want in historically rich Fredericksburg. Fredericksburg boasts a rich history of both colonial and Civil War history, as well as many activities for children, including local parks, skating rinks, a trampoline park, and more.

For lodging, you will enjoy free parking and self-check-in two cozy bedrooms, one with a television, and a cozy living room with a pull-out couch. The backyard has a patio with swings and chairs.

Please note that this is the basement apartment of our home, and residents reside upstairs on the property with children and a dog. Daytime noises are to be expected! The evening hours will be quiet.

It was ok but not worth the rate

The listing should mention this is a basement apartment of a house. The walls are super thin and we could hear walking (sounded like stomping) around at 5am our first morning. Pros - outside area super cute, close to downtown Fredricksburg, lots of space, thoughtfully stocked with coffee and creamers and beds were comfy. Cons - WIFI didn’t really work, bathroom kind of dirty (shower curtain, ceiling vent and floorboards were really bad) and we killed 5 spiders, noisy from above and in general smelled musty. Overall it was ok but with all the fees more then a hotel for a night. For what we paid per night, I would expect a lot more

Short Stay

We were in town overnight for a volleyball tournament at 540 Volleyball Academy. Th venue was less than 10 minutes away, which was really great! The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s a basement apartment with the family on the premises. Another review said they could hear kids upstairs, and we could hear little feet a few times, but it was extremely quiet during sleeping hours, and non-intrusive. I asked for an early check-in and they were wonderfully accommodating, responding to my last minute request within minutes. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft, smelled clean, and they weren’t skimpy like some rental places provide. I would stay here again.

Home Away from Home

This cozy basement apartment was perfect for our two week stay in the area! The owners have done a wonderful job of making it comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there.
