This was a nice older property. It was clean and great for our short stay. It is inconvenient for older folks with all bathrooms on top floor with steep stairs but it wasnt a problem for us.

Stayed at this property while visiting Fredericksburg for the Marine Corps Half Marathon. The property is in a perfect location for anyone looking to explore downtown Fredericksburg as well as other attractions such as the convention center. The property manager made the check-in process easy and supplied a welcome folder with recommendations for local restaurants and sites. An added plus was having a 7/11 across the street for quick snacks and drinks. We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg and recommend this property to anyone looking.

This was so convenient for a visit with my daughter at the university. We were close to the sunken road, tavern for diner and walking distance to downtown. And let's not forget about the battlefield restaurant for breakfast. Fantastic.

House was clean, plenty of towels and pillows for our eight guests. Being close to battlefield was excellent. Kitchen needs additional plates, cups & utensils otherwise stocked well for cooking. Host was prompt to answer our questions. We used outside chairs for additional inside seating for the dining table.

Our stay was great. This house is conveniently located to Old Town Fredericksburg, VA. We walked to the farmer’s market one morning (about a 10 - 15 minute walk) and ate a great brunch at Food. Easy parking on the road.

I was there with 4 guys for annual civil war trip. As a free lance historian, this spot not only was perfect for us, but this house sits on the epicenter of the line of battle of the union assaults versus Cobb/ Kershaw in the sunken road wall beneath Brompton. 13 seperate attacks. Anyways, the house is nice, clean, good water pressure, good AC, and location was superb. The sunken tavern food is off the hook amazing. If i stay in Fredericksburg again, it will be there.

The host was gracious and helpful, she did whatever she could to help us and answer questions. The house, I think, is a work in progress. The house was clean and the kitchen nicely equipped. However, the back patio wasn’t clean (lots of tree debris) and the chairs needed cleaning. The living and dining rooms were spacious and accommodating but there is finishing work needed in other parts of the house (cabinet panels missing in front of the kitchen sink). Bathrooms (2) and linens were clean, and they were plenty more in the hall closet. The house is located in a great spot, near all of the things you want to see and do. It’s close to shops and restaurants, near Ferry Farm and Kenmore, etc. So, lots of pluses. It will be even better with attention to some of the details.
