Unwind with the whole family at this peaceful, historic 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home, steps away from the Battlefield in downtown Fredericksburg. This home is walking distance to the college, the train station, the farmer’s market, the canal path, the river walk, as well as all the downtown restaurants and shops.
The house features a twin bedroom downstairs off the dining room. Upstairs there are 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms: a queen bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with a full-size bed, and a bedroom with two twin-size beds and a twin pull-out futon. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Pack and play and high chair are available on request. The washer and dryer are off the kitchen; laundry detergent provided. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking and baking supplies, coffee maker, keurig, coffee and creamer, toaster, and dishwasher. Great location. Walked to a neighborhood tavern for dinner. Quick drive to cool antique stores if that is your thing. Plenty of room and all you need in the kitchen for cooking.

The listing is misleading. It will sleep 7. The “sofa bed” is a joke. It is really a little couch about 4 feet wide in the room with the two twin beds and it folds out into a 4 inch thick “mattress.” The place needs a paint job in the worst way along with the cleaning of the patio furniture. No way to enjoy the nice weather on the patio due to how dirty it was. Pictures to come. There are cobwebs and dead insects stuck in them. The location is good as it is close to Main Street that has many restaurants.

Only issues- double bed was firm. Dog from neighbor left out for hours Sat night and all it did was bark.Location is great. House is old and could use some updates- ie curtains in bedrooms, remove old nail anchors, better paint job on walls, but I get it it's a rental. One guest said best pillows ever!

Our stay was great. This house is conveniently located to Old Town Fredericksburg, VA. We walked to the farmer’s market one morning (about a 10 - 15 minute walk) and ate a great brunch at Food. Easy parking on the road.

The location was ideal—just down the street from the wedding reception and right in the heart of everything we wanted to see. It was close to historic sites and just steps from the shops in downtown. Communication with the host was smooth, with quick and helpful responses throughout.

Great central location for a scattered group of old friends to meet. Comfortable older home with everything you need. Walkable neighborhood, great parking. Very responsive and considerate host.

Holiday Getaway with Family

This house was a lovely place for the family to meet up and spend some quality time together over the Christmas break. Walking distance to historic downtown Fredericksburg. It was a quiet and relaxing retreat! We would definitely come and stay again!

Great place to stay!

My friends and I came for a quick weekend trip for a wedding, and the house gave us all we need. They had a nice list at the house that had food places and coffee places near the house to try, which was so helpful! Super close walking distance to Fredericksburg downtown area. Had everything we needed. Easy check in and check out process as well. Definitely recommend!

Nice house overall however we found the beds to be quite uncomfortable. Good location

Location was good for getting around the historical downtown area and also easy to get around to the modern conveniences. The only thing I would have liked to see was a more fully stocked kitchen. I planned to cook for my family but there was only one small pan in the kitchen.

Old but good

Six friends came in town for the Marine Corps Half Marathon. This house isn’t luxury by any means, but it was a great stay. The owners were lovely and very communicative and the location is great (two mins to downtown, only five minutes from the race). Would stay again if I run again.

The property was sufficient. Lacked personality, was adequate. the back yard was unkept, not mowed so lacked an environment for morning coffee.
