Lac Sol is located in Chertsey. It is a resort area with many lakes and streams converging on the Ouareau River, where timber was still floating in the early 1950s. You will discover magnificent landscapes. Rumors report that Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, French aviator and writer, author of the famous Little Prince, would have stayed in a chalet near Camp Boute-en-Train. To visit, for prayer and meditation, the Marian Center Marie-Reine-des-Coeurs, located in the heart of the forest. A few kilometers away, you will enjoy the trails of the Ouareau Forest Regional Park.

Transform Le Maoli into a base camp and set off on an adventure on snowshoes, skis, snowmobiles, QUAD/ATVs... Le Maoli is at the heart of a network of organizations and businesses dedicated to helping you experience all kinds of adventures.

If you MUST stop before arriving at Le Maoli, if you come from Montreal, you can stop shopping in Sainte-Julienne where you will find all the usual shops or in Chertsey where you will have a Provigo. We also strongly suggest that you take a look at La Boulangerie Pain de campagne in Chertsey; a family business running for the last 45 years where you will find only homemade products in a very nice decor and a warm atmosphere. The bakery also offers good coffee and you can even eat there.

The chalet is unfortunately not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
Travelers have access to the entire house.

The main floor, entirely open concept will charm you. It includes kitchen, dining room, living room and the main bathroom. The master bedroom, with King bed, is located on the large mezzanine with King bed. The 2nd closed bedroom with Queen bed is in the basement.

In addition to the spa that can be used year-round, you can practice a multitude of activities there in all seasons: swimming at the nearby beach, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, tube sliding, dog sledding , tree to tree, hiking, golf, biking, snowmobiling, Quad, ATV, etc…

It is preferable to have a car to get around Lanaudière and to get to the village from the chalet.

CAMERAS: In the interest of security, surveillance cameras have been installed outside our chalet. We have one camera positioned to monitor the entrance and parking area. These measures are in place to deter theft and also to monitor the number of vehicles or individuals to prevent unauthorized gatherings.

Animals: Note that dogs are accepted in the chalet but NOT allowed on the Lac SOL beach. Fees of $75 per dog may apply.

PARTYS ARE PROHIBITED.

Complete bedding is provided as well as towels for the showers.

The kitchen is very well equipped. You will find, among other things, an espresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder, fondue and raclette sets in addition to all the usual kitchen accessories.

The spa can be used year round.
