We had a family emergency and tried to cancel the day before and get some sort of credit or answer on whether we could cancel and we were told that someone would respond on the Vrbo app chat, but no one ever contacted us. We were able to go on the trip, but it would have been nice to get a response. The view was honestly perfect. We were literally right on the beach so it was very convenient. The room could use some updating however. The door to the bathroom did not shut and the shower was clogged and didn't drain until we turned the shower off and waited about 15 minutes, so that was a little disappointing. The sliding door curtain was also broken, but otherwise everything else was good.The location was perfect and the check-in was very easy. We really enjoyed the balcony with the ocean view and easy access to the beach!

Being right on the beach is one of the things that makes this property special, and we’re happy you were able to enjoy those features during your stay. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration surrounding your attempted cancellation inquiry. After reviewing our portal, we do not see any messages from you regarding a request to cancel or asking about a credit. We always strive to respond to guest messages in a timely manner and make every effort to assist with questions or concerns as they arise. We would have been happy to help if we had received the request. We also appreciate you sharing your comments about the condition of the unit. We apologize for the issues with the bathroom door, shower drainage, and sliding door curtain. We will share this feedback with our maintenance team so these items can be reviewed and addressed.
