Cosy room with personal bathroom

Low ceilings and cozy lower basement room with personal bathroom at a good price. Recommend for all NYC trips.

Overall was simple clean and just what I needed. The ceiling was low but I mean you can’t change that just noticed! Great time thanks!

Property wasn’t ready when arrived, they didn’t track our check in date, had to pay out of pocket for a hotel for one night. Place wasn’t really clean, no AC or fan, no wifi.

Worst BnB ever

This place does not deserve to be on this platform. Owner is inexperienced in maintaining a property and managing customers. It smelled so bad that my wife got headache within 15 min and we left the property instantly. Whole place smelled like urine and stinky shoes. Place was full of dust and not good for anyone traveling with kids. Wet soiled and stained towels and bedsheets made the whole experience even worse. Worst part is host first accepted and apologized which I really appreciated. But then he refused to refund and started blaming us that we are lying. But my question is why would we do that? We booked this place 3 weeks in advance, travelled 5 hours flight and reached this place in the morning with 4 luggage and a kid, then spent more money to rebook another place and left the property. Why would we do that unless we had some major issue. We ended up losing our money as Vrbo is the worst platform (tried it for the first time) and asked us for proof of smell (even after providing picture proofs of other issues).
