Being only 1 1/2 miles up on Ski Mountain, the chalet is very convenient to downtown or the entrance to the national park. We hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your brief stay at Pine Top. The owner has been made aware of your concerns and we are looking for solutions. The TV in the living room was changed out for a larger screen, smart TV, with the Spectrum cable app. No more cable boxes! Plus you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc using your log in credentials. The bedroom TV is already configured this way and the "regular programming" you speak of are under the Spectrum app (our local cable provider). We look forward to seeing you in the mountains again soon.

We regret you had problems with the oven and hot tub, everything has now been resolved. The TV in the living room has been changed out and is a larger, smart TV. It is the exact same one that is in the bedroom and both TV's have the Spectrum app loaded so you can access our local cable system. Plus, you can stream movies from Netflix, Hulu, etc using your account and log in credetials. The bears have been highly active this year and are keeping us busy! We hope you can return again soon.

We are happy that you were able to relive your 25th anniversary in the same cabin you honeymooned in so long ago. The chalet has undergone many changes in those 25 years, but the mountains will always stay the same. The yard was just planted again after the new hot tub was installed and the new deck was put in place and we apologize. The new hot tub you referred to was lifted onto the deck with heavy machinery the week before your arrival and though a contained webbing of hay was used on top of the new grass seed, the amount of rain we received caused the excess run off.

Yes! Pinetop is a fantastic chalet that is exactly what you need for a perfect mountain vacation. We also love the fireplace, and how cozy it can make the chalet feel! At Mountain Laurel we always want to give guests the smoothest experience possible, so we love to hear that our staff helped to provide that for you. We are sorry to hear that you had an unfortunate encounter with a bear, but yes, keeping the car doors locked is a must!

The downstairs bedroom TV does not have a cable box because it is a smart TV and has the cable app from Spectrum loaded on the smart screen menu. It should come up as soon as the TV is turned on and you click on Spectrum to get all the cable channels. Or, you can chose another on line platform such as Netflix or Hulu if you have your own account. Please contact us the next time you run into maintenance issues and let us help you.
