Courtland NY

This was the bottom level of a house with great accommodations for our family's weekend baseball tournament. We have stayed at several houses throughout the years and the attention to details is always appreciated. There was plenty of dishes and utensils, TP, paper towels, regular linens and towels with backups if needed. So often these items are not thought off and result to late night visits to the store after checking in. Thanks for the stay.

Comfy Stay

Such a great place to stay that is extremely convenient to local eateries and stores. The beds and living room were very comfortable. There were several games including a ring toss that we found to be lots of fun. Bathrooms were really nice with great towels, mats and toiletries. Lots of extras in the baths and kitchen including a cabinet full of spices, which you don’t often see. Bedrooms and living room have window A/C units which I wasn’t sure about at first but once running they definitely kept the entire place plenty cool. It’s evident the host put a lot of thought into upgrading the home and they were very responsive and accommodating. We would stay again!

Not so Great

Stayed for a baseball tournament. We were disappointed with our stay at this property and ended up leaving early. The listing did not fully reflect the actual conditions of the home. The beds were quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, some windows lacked coverings, leaving parts of the home without privacy—this was particularly concerning given that the neighborhood didn’t feel like the safest area.We also noticed several rodent traps placed around the perimeter of the house, which raised concerns about cleanliness and pest issues. The back garage appeared abandoned and rundown, which added to an overall sense of neglect.While the property may have potential, we feel these issues should be addressed before it can provide a comfortable and safe stay for future guests.
