Highly recommend to use a car while in Houston. There is a popular saying here that "Houston is 30 minutes away from Houston". Everything is really big in Texas including our City landmass.
We accept pets on a case by case basis. There is an additional $35/night for pet fee, with max of $200 per month

My wife and I traveled to Houston for two weeks for a medical procedure and this place was perfect. Plenty of space for me to set-up my telework station, high speed internet was perfect, and the furniture was very comfortable (which seems hard to find in a rental). We loved the gated complex with plenty of parking.

Nice unit with a couple misses-
First the good- the house is clean, spacious, well decorated, comfortable. The security gate for the complex is a nice touch because the area is a bit run down, industrial and a bit sketchy. The pictures posted of the house are accurate and again the unit itself is nice and comfortable. The “not great”- When we arrived we were informed the garage door opener was not available. This means pulling up to the unit, parking, getting out of the car, going inside and opening the garage door from inside, then getting back in the car to pull into the garage. When leaving- reverse that- open the garage, pull out, park, go back inside to close the garage door, back out and then leave. This isn’t something awful, but certainly inconvenient when coming and going. Each room has independent a/c controls which was nice. However the back bedroom thermostat doesn’t work as it should. It was turned to 74 and hold, and the ac never turned off. We tried everything but once the thermostat showed the room temp was at 68, we turned that unit off. After a few more minutes, it stopped blowing. We tried again later with the same results, so we just left the thermostat turned off and kept that bedroom door open all night to help with airflow. Again- not terrible, but inconvenient. Finally- when we got up in the morning we discovered the Keurig coffee machine did not work which meant starting the morning with a drive to Starbucks. Again- not convenient.
