La Banque Stylish and comfy stay

Historic old bank restored to its original beauty. Located 5 min from Hwy 45, and 15 min from Henderson. This is a perfect location for anyone wanting a weekend getaway or if you are driving through. Our space reflects peace and quiet, plenty of books to leaf through, a fireplace to warm your feet and a fully stocked kitchen. Bathroom is spacious and has a beautiful clawfoot tub to soak in. Come get the unique experience of sleeping in a bank vault!

A historic building that was freshly remodeled that reflects the past with a nod to the future.

Other things to note
We are located right on the 199 hwy so there is a fair amount of traffic noise in the morning and evening,if you are from the city it will probably seem quiet but if you are used to quiet locations there is some traffic noise.

Our homeschooling family absolutely loved our stay at La Banque! We came from Hickory, KY and Metropolis, IL to celebrate my son's 12th birthday, and this beautiful old bank turned into the perfect history lesson. We were fascinated by the original vault (and loved getting to sleep in it!), and we spent time talking about what life might ve been like here in the 1920s. The space is clean, cozy, and full of character from the fireplace to the shelves of books and games. Mali has truly created something special here. It was the perfect mix of learning, relaxing, and celebrating. We can't wait to come back! Loved it!

This is our second visit to La Banque. Each visit has been great as the place is clean and offers a unique and historic feel. (I love the exposed brick, tall ceilings and open layout) The host has been professional and responds quickly to any questions. We will definitely be back if we are traveling through the area again.

This nice, clean VRBO was central to our travels and we were glad to find it. It is very unique and cool ( I love the exposed brick and open layout!) This is our second stay and it has been great each time. The host is very professional and has been quick to respond to any questions.

We have stayed at many VRBO’s all over the country and this is one of the best. Beautiful historical building that has been preserved in such an amazing way. Peaceful restful from the hostess was the most attentive to all our needs and quick to answer questions. Great extras included in the stay. Adorable !

Beautiful, Clean Property

We stayed one night, just long enough to go to my daughter's graduation from FHU but we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The property was beyond our expectations...very clean, accommodating, easy to get to and the beds were very comfortable. I thank you for allowing us to stay the night here and if I'm ever back in Henderson I will absolutely love to stay here again.

Family Reunion weekend

Finding this gem in McNairy Co, TN, is so special!!! Attending a family reunion nearby, Le Banque was perfect for us! Such a unique and comfortable place in a cute little town! Friendly people, and a serene atmosphere! This place has everything you need and more!

Excellent get away

Very impressed with this little place. Perfect for a weekend get away. Close to small towns. Host was fantastic at answering questions and getting back to us in good timing. We will stay here again! Had a great time.

Relaxing stay in small town

Great place to stay! We had fun staying in an old bank remodeled like a Paris flat! Clean and roomy. Very relaxing. Close to Henderson. Host was excellent. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Was a really cool experience!!! We loved it!!

This old converted bank was quaint and comfortable. We had a great stay and Mali, the host, was nice and attentive. We would stay there again.

Fabulous place

Stayed at the location to visit family that live in the area and it was perfect. It was clean, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Host was responsive, check in was easy and location is close to a dollar general near by. Would highly recommend and will return again

Perfect Stay!

Absolutely loved this place!! We will and already recommended this place to family and friends. Little out of the way in a small town but is for sure worth the short drive!! Perfect for relaxation! By far the best vacation home we have stayed at!

Perfect stay for college visit

Absolutely stunning and unique property! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Comfortable furniture and beds. Do not miss your opportunity to light a few candles and relax in that gorgeous claw foot tub. If my daughter commits to FHU, we will only visit it this property is available

Great Stay and Location

We come to Henderson, Tenn., often to visit our son in college. This location is great. It’s not that far from campus. It beats having to stay in one of the local hotels. It’s very comfortable and well-stocked. This is our second stay. We will stay again.

Excellent Choice

We stay at several VRBOs and this one ranks up there toward the top. It was a neat experience. We’ve already booked it for another stay in a few weeks. The host was very quick with responses to our requests.

Holts 44th Anniversary

The pictures on the website is accurate for the house. It is lovely and quaint. Considering my husband and I have past experience in banking, we thought it was cool to sleep in a bank vault space. The area is isolated, but that is what we wanted. The only improvement I would recomend is adding a couple of ice trays to the freezer. My husband likes ice in his drinks. I would highly recommend this place.

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be! I would suggest bringing food in, they are tucked away from restaurants, but you can go to the Dollar General down the road. I loved the decor and cleanliness! It is near a busy road, but it’s only busy in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Charming and comfy

I fell in love with this place when I found the listing on VRBO. The host did an excellent job describing the property and the proximity to the traffic, which we did not find to be much of a bother, although it was present as noted. THAT BATHTUB!! Dreamy and equipped with complimentary bubble bath and epsom salts! Nice touch! Having the ability to do laundry was also great. Actually going home from a vacation without a huge trash bag full of dirty stuff. Anytime I asked the host about things to do/places to eat in the area, she was prompt to respond with some very good recommendations. If you love a little local place, the Amish store, less than 6 miles away (Ada's), I found to be quite a delight. Great place to grab all kinds of bulk food items/full deli case/home baked breads and we even got hot breakfast sandwiches there one morning. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if we were travelling in this area.

Unique get-away
