Cozy little cabin, behind logging gate, in the hills of Olympic National Park, between Sequim and Port Angeles, easy 15- to 20 minutes to town. Wake up to sunrise and mountains to sea views. Private hiking trails and after hike relax on deck with firepit and cocktails with a view of Protection Island and Blue Mountain, while enjoying stargazing. Kitchenette to cook your own meals, make coffee, watch local TV, phones service is okay. Please contact owner before reserving, to ask any questions and to understand gate issues.

This felt like a once-in-a-lifetime cute little perfect cabin, close to anything we wanted to do while still secluded and peaceful.Gab built this cabin intentionally, anput care into every square inch, and you can tell.100,000,000% would recommend this little gem

The studio was the perfect stay for our trip to Olympic. Gabrielle is wonderful and the cabin had everything we needed. It’s only 20 minutes from Port Angeles but feels tucked away. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and views. We would absolutely stay again

Cozy and very well crafted cabin in the woods, with some fantastic views and easy access to Olympic National Park and other areas. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and location of Gabrielle's cabin. She was also very communicative and helpful while also providing us with our privacy. The cabin itself was beautifully crafted, not a screw loose or anything crooked. Everything worked. The porch was a highlight for sure! Would stay again.

The little cabin was amazing! If you're looking for a quiet place a little off the beaten path with lovely views of the mountains and valleys, then this is the place for you. Gabrielle was welcoming and informative about the property, replied to questions readily, and then left us to enjoy her beautiful cabin and the view from the deck overlooking the valley on one side and up to Blue Mountain on the other. She gave us walnuts to feed the birds and fresh eggs from her chickens to cook for breakfast!The gravel road to the cabin is a little windy and steep, but fairly easy to navigate, and the property is a couple of miles outside of Port Angeles. If you're looking to be super close to restaurants and shops, then you may want to stay closer to town. But, if you want a quiet little spot to enjoy all the beauty of the area right from your front deck and then be able to turn in to a comfy bed at the end of the day, the 15 minute drive from town is definitely worth it. Gabrielle's little cabin is the perfect blend of outdoor space and beauty and indoor comfort.

Cute Cabin Vibes

Super cozy, private, perched in nature. It was a quick drive to Port Angeles, and the Host was more than we anticipated — so friendly and very informed about the area. Kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our brief stay!

cutest cabin, great location

We really enjoyed the privacy of the location and that it was tucked away into the mountains. Had a remote, "away from the world" feel while only being 15-20 minutes from Port Angeles. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything you need but don't bring on vacation, like towels and kitchen equiptment.Great place!

We were only looking for a quiet, clean place to use as a base while we spent a few days exploring Mt Rainier. But this cabin is so special, I wish we had booked a longer stay. It was wonderful to unplug for a few days while enjoying the gorgeous view from the front porch and the quiet surroundings. The cabin is in the middle of the owner’s property a mile behind a logging gate and is completely private. We never heard any people sounds during our stay; just nature, birds, and the wind in the trees. My husband enjoyed watching old movies on the satellite TV system. There is no WiFi but the cell signal is strong enough we could still use data if we had to. We were just unplugged enough to rest, yet could still use our cell to plan the next day’s activities and check current conditions, weather, and closures.The cabin is decorated with Gabrielle’s special touches, and we enjoyed learning a little about the history of the cabin. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. She clearly explained everything we needed to know on her tour of the property. She also gave us good tips on where to find a better view than Hurricane Ridge and the best spot on her property to catch the sunset. She communicated with us throughout our stay and was always available.The property is convenient to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. If we are ever back in the area, we will certainly book again. Thanks Gabrielle!

The property was just as described. It was literally tucked away on 10 acres of forest. Gabrielle was so accommodating - she made sure we had extra blankets, enough towels,etc. The heater in the cabin worked very efficiently. The kitchen was small but adequate.

Cozy Cabin

The view was awesome! Sunrise from the porch was “candy for the eyes”. The cozy cabin had all we needed. We stayed the 3rd week of July and the weather was perfect. A recommended trip up Blue Mountain was worth the drive. Its location was 5 miles off HWY 101 (4 miles paved, 1 mile gravel). Deer galore along the 5 miles (many fawns). We would stay here again on a return visit to Port Angeles and the Olympic National Forest.

This oh so charming cabin, is surrounded by incredible nature. Gabrielle Is a kind & thoughtful host, who shared a few amazing wildlife stories. She is passionate for all things nature, and it reflects in her property. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back one day. My boyfriend & I were in the area hiking and this was the perfect base camp. You'll have a distant though lovely view of the puget sound & Blue Mountain. If you love cozy & charming...this is your place!

What a lovely cottage! The view from the covered porch was picturesque and the space was clean, bright, and filled with imaginative and beautiful artwork. Gab, the owner and artist, greeted us and treated us to a tour of the land and cottage. Easy access to the property was helpful as we spent our days hiking and our evenings star gazing at Hurricane Ridge and nearby Blue Mountain. Our weekend was wonderful and our stay was comfortable, quiet, and happy.

Gabrielle's place is so unique! Isolation atop a forested hill, privacy guaranteed with the logging gate at the entrance, and views of the Strait of Juan Fuca to the East. I watched a glorious sunrise over the Strait from the bed, colors I'm still trying to name. All this and still close to the Park entrance and downtown Port Angeles. When you head to town, Blackbird Cafe is a must for breakfast and Kokopelli's for dinner. I wish I had longer to stay but I'll certainly come back. When I do I hope Gabrielle's place is available.
