We very much enjoyed the location of the house which was about as good as it gets...location, location, location as they say in real estate. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stop as the house was VERY DIRTY, quite old and in need of serious upgrades / repairs everywhere you looked. Everything was dated - linens, appliances, furniture, etc., etc. - and didn’t seem to be well cared for over many, many years which was quite unfortunate. Given the price point of ~$1300 / night, one would expect a decent interior / exterior with modest amenities but this house unfortunately fell short in many respects. It could be as simple as taking one seasons worth of rental income and reinvesting back into the house to bring it up to par for a house at the current price point.
