The Stranded Time Traveler; a timeless experience in a very convenient location!

Like something out of a fairy tale, the time machine's beauties are enchanting and memorable. Set somewhere in the past and present, it is being held in a large storage yard (plenty of space) because of flux capacitor issues while time marches on. Centrally located, it is about 3 mins. from NMSU, 5 mins. from Old Mesilla, the Billy the Kid court house, and the Farmers Market, 20 mins. from Dripping Springs Natural Area, 40 mins from El Paso, and 45 mins. from White Sands National Park.

The time machine is conveniently located in both space and time. It is close to the University, restaurants, shops, stores (including Walmart), and several tourist attractions. There is plenty of parking space and lots of room to walk your dog in the secure gated commercial area. It is peaceful most of the time there, but occasionally there are some activities and vehicles that come and go.

The facilities are designed for a couple, but a third wheel could be accommodated. They would need to sleep on the narrow padded bench. There is an additional pillow and blanket inside it.

You must be able to climb ladders to ascend to the elevated celestial sleeping haven, as well as the lounge area. There are no railings, some low ceilings and chandeliers, and some of the spaces are tight, including the bathroom. Staying in the Time Machine is not for everyone.

She may not be traveling through time anymore, and is quickly becoming a relic of the past, present, and future, but she still has a lot of class! We hope you appreciate what she has to offer. Much effort has gone into making your stay an experience. We hope you enjoy the many details.

Know that you may hear guests in the two neighboring RVs or home come and go. There is also a train that passes by on the old Santa Fe Railroad not far from the property. If you are lucky, you will get to hear its horns and rumble. If you are unlucky, you will hear it horns and rumble when you are trying to sleep. Be prepared for that and other sounds of the city.

Please do not attempt to repair the time machine. Time travel is strictly prohibited. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Loved the decor! So clean and creative! I felt like I was living in a Disney ride!! Bed very comfortable, nice big TV, even had some cool water waiting for me! This place needs to be experienced! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Best time in an enchanting world

All three of us were stunned walking inside at how awesome the place looked. Very smartly laid out and very all immersive. Absolutely no problems during the stay and Host stopped by to check on us. Will absolutely stay again

That was fun!

Interesting property full of antiques and unique decor. I felt very safe at night behind the locked gate.

Time Travel

This place was amazing! The detail put into the space was amazing and so well done! We loved the vibe and would have loved another night to fully appreciate it but was perfect for our quick stop over. The directions were perfect and no issues getting in. Thank you Michelle for hosting us and sharing this wonderful time machine with us!

An Adventure

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights. Everything was as listed. It's super cute inside. Loft sleeping area is tight if you are over 5'9" Headspace a bit odd, but may be better if the mattress was turned sideways. We lost power at one point, but the owners were there quickly to reset breaker.

If only the Flux Capacitor worked!

I was hoping we could wake up and have it be 2015…but alas the time traveler has a bad flux capacitor. Everything else was wonderful. Was it the most comfortable bed? Nope. Didn’t care for two nights. It was really a magical place to stay. Unfortunately the location is the only thing that is a draw back…although it was very quiet there. If you like unique accommodations then this is a must. Thanks for the experience.

Omw TURN UP THE AC!

Our hopes of a whimsicanl stay ....turned out to be too much like reality!The space was terribly hot! When the AC unit did cool off a portion of the space the top bed was stifling ! WE HAVE A LONG ROAD AHEAD AND WE COULDNT GET COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO have a sound sleep! Read and reread the directions very very well for the property! If you ask the manager something that was on the directions ....she will.just refer you back to the directions and make you feel like your an idiot looking for info that isnt there! Good luck setting up the Wifi if you were born last night like i was....you wont be using the television!

The night you stayed, you asked us about : 1) the name of the network, 2) if you could use Netflix, and 3) the location of the blankets. I responded and indicated that although all the information is in the app, I could still answer through it. Despite this, I never received a request related to the temperature of the property. If you had told me, I would have gladly resolved the issue, and that's what I did after receiving your comment sent minutes after you checked out.
