Mary Jane, Communicating with our guests, making sure we are accessible to them, and making sure our guests have everything they need is very important to us. This property is our home that we share, not a rental property so having a great relationship with our tenants is vital to us. To ensure that our guests have everything they need we: 1. Begin communication with an extensive VRBO profile outlining every detail of the home, what guests need to know about the home so they can plan properly. 2. Prior to check-in, a Welcome Notes guide complete with what is provided in the home, what you need to bring, as well as instruction of how to find the home, details for check-in is emailed to each guest. 3. Upon arrival, there is a thorough reference guide in the home, outlining how to use everything the home, (TVS, heat, AC, equipment), what to do at checkout, as well as a complete guide to what there is to do locally ( Restaurant guide, hiking and biking trails, local town events and much more) 4. On the day of check-in, we make a point of reaching out to our guests to ask if they have what they need and if we can be of assistance, making sure to provide our cell phones encouraging our guests to reach out with any questions if we can be of assistance. In your case, I have 30 texts spanning from 30 days prior to your check-in, to your check out responding to your inquiries about the home & your needs during your stay, yet we rated poorly on communication. How could it improve?
