Home and pool were clean and the description was accurate. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and equipment. Location to Chatham and the beach was unbeatable. There were some issues though. Heating element was broken prior to our arrival, which was known to the host, but it was not fixed so the pool was very cold. All basement TVs did not function, which made be basement much less appealing. Also the whirlpool jets shot out black flecks. All of this was reported but our stay was only three days so not enough time to fix anything. The cleaner said they are planning to replace the TVs over the winter, so you may want to check in about these things in Spring 2026. Despite the issues we had a great weekend and we would rent the home again.

Great time with family

Great location. Walk to the beach and downtown! Heated pool was a win with the kids. Loved the firepit. Ideal bedroom options and plenty of bathrooms for all. Wonderful experience. Our family had a blast. Make sure to ask about the sheets and towel situation - we brought all of ours to find out they were provided. There were beach towels and beach chairs as well... I would ask, perhaps they are not guaranteed, but they were there for us to use during our visit. Be sure to ask to clarify. Better than hauling your own! Overall, would 100% recommend for a family getaway to the Cape

Awesome property

We were here for sons wedding at CBI. Our other son came from California with 18 month old twins. This is a top notch home with all the amenities a family could need. Each and every room was beautifully decorated and homey. We would definitely rebt here again.

Great weekend!

Wonderful / spacious house and location. There was a bit of a mix up with linens and beds (we didn’t have the right sized sheets for the king beds), but we worked with the property manager to solve the issue.

Lovely stay at 14 Hallett Lane in Chatham with family ...

We absolutely loved our entire stay at 14 Hallett Lane in Chatham! Our extended family ranged in age from 2 to 67 and everyone enjoyed the home. Many commented that it was even more beautiful in person. The kitchen was large with 2 dishwashers and was exceptionally well stocked ... we used the kitchen and outdoor grill to prepare and enjoy many meals at home! The fire pit was used many nights and enjoyed, too. The pool was awesome - you had only to push a button to open and close the pool cover and it kept the water warm and clean. There is an upper deck off the master bedroom overlooking the pool area that was a pleasant place to read and relax. Everyone of all ages loved the pool and luxurious bathrooms in each bedroom. Showers and bathrooms were large and beautifully tiled and decorated in a coastal theme. Having 2 laundry rooms was amazing! The home is perfectly located so you can walk to a small neighborhood beach, to Main Street for meals and shopping, and to a small Capeabilities shop next door for fresh berries and veggies and local gifts and sweets. We enjoyed trips to the nearby Chatham Fish Pier for seafood and seal watching and Chatham Bars Inn is close by as well. The community of Chatham is like stepping into a picture-perfect seaside village where everyone is nice and respectful, the homes and cottages are lovely, and there is everything you need for a wonderful summer holiday! The amazing home at 14 Hallett Lane fits right into the perfect town! Must also mention the great man cave downstairs for billiards, TV watching and drinks ... the grown-ups enjoyed it a lot, especially in the evenings while the children slept upstairs! We all hope to come back soon!

Creating memories

With our children and grandchildren in tow, this home beautifully accommodated the twelve of us (4 couples and 4 kids ages 2-4). The pool was a big hit with the little ones! Everyone had their space and even on rainy days we were comfortable lounging in the various sitting areas. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and ease of checking in and out. Communication with Sonnie was wonderful, and she came by to make sure everything was in order while welcoming us to the Cape. We were all thrilled with our stay in Chatham, but it just wasn’t long enough!

Excellent property, beautiful home. Pool not ready for human recreation. No hot water in several rooms. Hot water fixed but took an entire day because manager not available on weekend. Pool filtration system not even turned on at arrival. Pool never completely ready for use during stay. Management needs to tell renter the exact location of “red emergency switch”. Eight college educated adults could not locate it. A partial refund should be granted for state of pool and lack of hot water. All told - a wonderful home, location and property. Would return once pool and water issues resolved.

Perfect location

We so loved our stay at 14 Hallett that we are already trying to figure out when to come back. The house is beautifully decorated and perfect for a large and diverse family group with three levels to live and play in. It's very close to the beach and walking distance to town.

Very nice, well provisioned house

We rented this house for Thanksgiving 2017. Easy walk to town and beach. Chatham is lots of fun at this time of year. More than adequate kitchen supplies (pots,pans etc.) to cook thanksgiving dinner.

Amazing home great for families or Business Groups

Wow! Amazing clean, functional property that gave everyone in our group their own space! We were a business group having a board meeting/retreat and the space worked great. Bedrooms on Each floor, two kitchens, the downstairs rec-area! Amazing. Just steps to the ocean as well as a short walk to the town of Chatham. One morning got up and watched the sunrise at the lighthouse just a short walk away. We were able to use the large dinning table for our meeting space, as well as meals together. Hurry, book this place, as it books fast!

Absolutely outstanding property well equipped, close to beaches and within walking distance of town

Our first impression was just WoW! This house is breathtaking, the style and decor just sum up New England with its coastal inspired colours and nautical influences. We stayed as a family group of 4 couples, 4 children & 1 young adult. There's plenty of space for all and a quiet space can always been found. We enjoyed the outside as much as the inside, the garden has plenty of shaded areas and a pool which was the focal point. The outdoor grill was perfect for our group too. Each room has its own (at least one) tv which suits a large party with varying viewing tastes & each bedrooms it's own bathroom. The kitchen has everything you could want or need & previous guests have left the larders well stocked with store cupboard essentials. The short stroll to the lighthouse & stunning beach is a bonus as well as the convenience to the town. All in all a faultless house in a fabulous location to be enjoyed by all ages; small children to grandparents! I hope everyone who is lucky enough to visit has as wonderful a time as we did!!!
