"THE FILLING STATION" Lodge Room 107- LYDIA MOUNTAIN LODGE is the Hub of all things Lydia! We currently offer Unique Rooms - each with a Nostalgic Theme built to match your personality!

Lodge Room 107 (MAIN FLOOR - PETS ALLOWED) "The Filling Station" features TWO Full size beds with a full tub shower bathroom and a private balcony. Equipped with a microwave, mini fridge and a single cup coffee maker.  Enjoy the Over-the-Mountain Sunrise Views from the Balcony! Cozy up by the wood burning fireplace in the Beautiful Mezzanine and get some much needed relaxation or meander down to Bearrr Appetit Restaurant in the lower level of Lydia Mountain Lodge for farm-to-table dining with Spectacular Mountain Views!

Will definitely book again!

We booked for the weekend for our 19th wedding anniversary. The ease of booking, checking in and checking out were very convenient. The room was clean and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The restaurant was great and highly recommend. The staff was very pleasant. Our only issue was the driveway being barely enough room for two way traffic. But we will definitely be staying again.

Returning and happy again

This was our second stay at Lydia Mountain Lodge and we're already considering returning again :) We're planning on trying every time a different room because we just can't get enough of the attention to detail for the lovely decor. We also love that all the rooms of the lodge have the view of the mountains and the very short distance from one of the entrances to Shenandoah NP. The check in and check out process was quick and smooth. The only personnel we met was the staff of the restaurant during our dinner on Saturday night and everyone was extremely nice and friendly. Also Saturday was Valentine's Day, the lodge and the restaurant were all booked and the whole vibe was amazing, with people smiling and having a good time all around us. Now, a few things that could have been better during our stay. We wished the restaurant was open in the evening on Sunday night, maybe with a few pre-made menu items; with the restaurant closing at 3pm we had to drive around after our day hike to find something to eat for dinner. We like and appreciate the convenience of having microwave and fridge in the room, but there was food left in the microwave, so room cleanliness could be improved, although we found the room overall clean. In general these minor cons did not diminish our enthusiasm and we enjoy our stay again.

Happy 4th and a Surprise

First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!

Wonderful place to stay

My husband and I enjoyed our overnight stay so much. The room was so nice and it was fun to see all the decor. Of course, the view off the balcony was amazing and watching the sun rise in the morning, breathtaking! Dinner at the restaurant downstairs was delicous and saying hello to Jumper made it extra special. We will be back for sure!

What a great place!

Our Corvette club booked 11 of the lodge rooms for after our cruise on Skyline Drive. Everybody got a kick out of the themed rooms. The lodge has a great vibe and an incredible view off the back. Even though the restaurant is normally closed the day we were there, they put together a limited menu for us. It worked out great. Thank you Effie and staff!

Fantastic venue and staff

Everything from check in, advice, food, and staff. Fantastic. I’d name the people’s name but I might miss one of them. Everyone has been fantastic this weekend and last weekend. I felt like I was the only one there. Perfect personable service. I got first class service every day. Booking more stays now.

Amazing hospitality

Arrived late after a long day of hiking and we weren’t aware that the restaurant was closed on the night we were staying. The manager found out and went out of her way to make us a salad and brought us dessert and drinks with it! We were so impressed. The themed rooms are unique but the bed sheets were worn so definitely need to be checked. Otherwise, very happy with our stay.
