"SOUTHERN BELLE"  Lodge Room 101 - LYDIA MOUNTAIN LODGE is the Hub of all things Lydia! We currently offer Unique Rooms - each with a Nostalgic Theme built to match your personality.

"Southern Belle" (MAIN FLOOR - NO PETS ALLOWED) features a King size bed, with a full tub shower bathroom and a private balcony. Equipped with a microwave, mini fridge and a single cup coffee maker.  Enjoy the Over-the-Mountain Sunrise Views from the Balcony!  Cozy up by the wood burning fireplace in the beautiful Mezzanine and get some much needed relaxation or meander down to Bearrr Appetit Restaurant in the lower level of Lydia Mountain Lodge for farm-to-table dining with spectacular mountain views!

As a True Southern Belle would say "Pretty is as Pretty Does"!  Lydia Mountain Lodge's "Southern Belle - Room 101"  will leave you feeling Beautiful and Refreshed!

Amazing Stay

My wife and I used to live down the street. We never knew how nice the lodge is and how amazing the restaurant is. Honestly we would have gone there to eat all the time if would have even known it was there. It is the best restaurant in the area by far. Their omelettes are big and very flavorful, but the burger was probably the best burger I have had in a very long time. My wife loved the chicken pimento cheese egg rolls. If you are a local check out the restaurant, we wish we would have when we lived there. The sever was really good, forgot her name. There are cabins and rooms at the lodge. We stayed at the lodge and the room was very clean. Each room is designed differently, the views from the balconies are amazing. Also I can tell it would be a great place to have a wedding at. Very impressed by the whole operation that this place offers.

When you're here, you're part of the family

We meet Effie shortly after we arrived just by happenstance. She was very warm and inviting. So much so we wound up meeting many of her and her husband friends and family during it stay. We'll definitely be back!

Comfortable and Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay in the Sothern Belle room for the night. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the Bear Appetite for dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the gorgeous view!

Nice stay

The room is fun but perhaps a bit too much “stuff” made for a cluttered feel. What was missing were hangers! A rod in the closet was bare, never saw that before, you should have hangers in the room.

We had a great and relaxing weekend! So nice to see familiar faces. Josh was helpful from the moment we walked in. Cadence did a super job attending our table outside both for dinner and breakfast. Wonderful!

This was a very impromptu stay. I was chasing the Northern Lights and decided this was the place to stay for the evening. No lights but what a picturesque, quiet property, and I was treated to an amazing sunrise! My room was perfectly decorated. I will definitely be back!

It is a wonderful place

It is a beautiful place to spend as a couple, the service is excellent and the place is super romantic, it has cabins and if you don't want cabins you can use the rooms, which are excellent
