We`re so happy to have you here and want to ensure you have a fantastic and relaxing stay. To help make everyone`s experience (yours, our neighbours`, and future guests`) enjoyable, we`ve put together a few simple guidelines for our chalet. Think of them as friendly tips for a smooth and happy visit!

🤫 Keeping the Peace & Being a Great Neighbour
Our chalet is a special place for peace and quiet, nestled by the beautiful lake. To help us maintain this serene atmosphere for everyone:

Outdoor Sounds:

No Music Outside, Please: Let`s keep the natural sounds of the lake and forest as our main soundtrack outdoors.

Indoor Music: Feel free to enjoy music inside, but please keep the volume at a level that can`t be heard from outside.

Voices by the Lake & Outdoors: Please enjoy conversations and laughter, but try to keep voices calm and avoid shouting, especially near the lake or when outside, to respect the tranquility of the area and our neighbours.

Quiet Hours: After 10:00 PM, please be extra mindful of noise levels indoors to ensure a peaceful night for everyone.

No Parties: To keep things relaxed and respectful, parties or large, loud gatherings are not permitted.

Fireworks & Firecrackers: For safety and to maintain the peace, launching any firecrackers or fireworks on the property is strictly prohibited.

🚭 Clean Air Inside & Out
No Smoking or Vaping Indoors: To keep the chalet fresh and clean for all guests, smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed inside.

Outdoor Smoking: If you smoke outside, please be sure to dispose of all cigarette butts responsibly in an appropriate container, not in the garden or on the grounds.

🐾 Welcoming Your Furry Friends (Pet Guidelines)
We understand pets are part of the family! If you`re bringing your furry companion, please help us keep the chalet welcoming for everyone by following these simple pet rules:

Furniture Free Zone: To keep our couches and beds fresh for all guests, pets are not allowed on them.

Outdoor Cleanliness: Please be diligent about cleaning up after your pet outdoors and ensure no `organic surprises` are left behind.

Potential Cleaning Fee: Please note that if extra cleaning is required due to pet-related issues, an additional fee may apply.

🏡 Caring for Our Chalet Home
A little care goes a long way in keeping our chalet beautiful and comfortable for every guest!

No Confetti, Please: While festive, confetti can be tricky to clean up, so we kindly ask that it not be used inside.

Furniture Placement: Please keep the furniture in its current arrangement.

Towel Care: To keep our towels fresh and white, please avoid using them for makeup removal or as cleaning rags. A fee may apply for towels or bedding that are permanently stained or damaged.

Protect Our Surfaces!

Hot Items: Please always use trivets or placemats for hot pots, pans, or dishes. Placing them directly on wooden surfaces, kitchen countertops, or tables can leave permanent marks. Let`s keep them looking great!

BBQ Gas: For safety, please always make sure the propane tank valve for the BBQ is turned off after each use.

Toilet TLC:

Our septic system is sensitive! Please only flush toilet paper.

Flushing anything else (like wipes – even `flushable` ones, feminine products, paper towels, etc.) can cause serious plumbing problems. If a plumber is needed due to improper items being flushed, the cost will unfortunately need to be passed on to the guest.

♨️ Hot Tub Relaxation & Care
Enjoy a wonderful soak! To keep the hot tub clean and working perfectly for everyone:

Temperature After Use: When you`re finished, please set the temperature to 98°F (37°C).

Cover Up: Always close the hot tub cover securely after each use. This keeps it clean, safe, and helps save energy!

No Food or Glass: For safety and to keep the water sparkling, please don`t bring food or any glass items in or around the hot tub.

Water Quality: Please note that if the hot tub water needs to be changed after your stay due to spills or excessive debris, an extra cleaning fee may apply.

👋 Before You Say Goodbye (Departure Checklist)
We`ll be sad to see you go! To help our cleaning team prepare for the next guests, we`d be grateful if you could quickly run through these steps before you leave:

General Tidy: Please leave the chalet in a generally tidy condition, as you found it.

Dishwasher: If you`ve used it, please ensure it`s empty.

Food: Please remove all your personal food items from the fridge, freezer, and cupboards.

Beds: No need to strip the beds! You can leave them as they are.

Towels: Please gather all used towels and leave them in a pile in the downstairs bathroom.

Kitchen Island: Please ensure the kitchen island is clear.

Trash & Recycling:

Please put all trash into the designated bins.

Make sure everything is in the correct compartments (recycling, general waste).

Important: Please do not leave any trash bags on the road.

If the bins are full, please contact us, and we`ll let you know what to do with any extra bags.

Secure the Chalet:

Double-check that all windows (including bay windows) are closed and locked.

Lock the door securely.

If there`s an alarm system, please arm it if instructed.

A Note on Cleaning: We understand normal use, but if the chalet is left in a condition requiring significantly more cleaning than usual, additional cleaning fees may be charged.
