Dreamy Puako Beach House on White Sand Beach with AC!

Absolutely stunning 3 bedroom/2 bath beach house. Hale Laʻi Laʻi ~ Home of tranquility and contentment. Recently remodeled to create a feeling of contemporary elegance and relaxation with total beach vibes. Everything has been upgraded with soft modern finishes throughout.

The crystal blue ocean greats you as you step in to the comfortably furnished open concept living area. With large windows and pocket sliders to your private lanai, you get 180 degrees of ocean views, framed by the Kohala mountains and Haleakala (Maui) in the distance.

Gentle waves crash on the reef, and whales cruise on by in the winter months. All the ocean activities are in your backyard from kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, diving and exploring the tidal pools along the coastline. Or simply enjoy the tropical breeze with your toes in the sand accompanied by the local turtles who come to bask in the sun.

Spacious oceanfront lanai with direct access to the beach and ample seating for relaxing and dining on the large teak dining table and swing sofa.

Gourmet Kitchen is a chef’s delight with ocean views, high end appliances, large Wolf range, copper farm house sink and counter top seating.

Primary Bedroom is a luxurious haven with en-suite bathroom featuring a jetted tub and a separate walk in shower as well as a large walk in closet. King size bed with quality linens, plush bedding, TV and motored shades with blackouts. There is also direct access to a private lanai overlooking the fish pond.

Second bedroom offers a queen size bed with quality linens, plush bedding and blackout shades.

Third bedroom has a trundle bed.

This is a hosted vacation rental. Host lives on site in a detached unit but offers guests full privacy during their stay.

Starting January 1, 2026, Hawaii's Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) will increase from 10.25% to 11%. All guests booking in advance for 2026 reservations will be charged for the increased tax rate once it goes into effect.

Lovely cottage, lovely beach.

Woke up to the sound of the waves.We snorkeled on the beach and turtles came to check on us. There were lots of cute fish.The rock in front of us is a resting place for turtles.The New Year's fireworks were an unforgettable experience.We were able to enjoy the paradise on earth.

Unobstructed view of the ocean and sounds of the waves was enough to give this house a 5 star review. Turtles on the rocks even afternoon! Comfort everywhere from the beds and the living room to the seating on the lanai and beach. Every single thing that we needed was provided. Appreciated the art and decorations throughout that gave the place the feel of luxury. No hesitation to staying here again.

perfect stay in paradise

Beautiful & well equipped house with an amazing & peaceful view. Spent many hours on the large porch watching for whales, dolphins and sea turtles. Couldn't ask for a better place for the ultimate r & r. Hope to come back again.

Whales, Turtles and Paradise: A perfect stay at a beachfront Big Island Getaway

Every day we woke up to the sound of crashing waves, strolled through the clean house with its tasteful beach-inspired design, and headed to the beautiful sliding doors onto the spacious lanai facing the ocean, coffee in hand (using one of her cute seahorse mugs). Settling into the comfy swinging daybed, I rocked while watching the whales wave good morning to me.Extra points for snorkeling gear and beach towels. The kitchen was really well appointed with ample stemware, utensils, serving platters and dishes! It was better than we could have hoped for. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic, met and exceeded our wildest expectations

My wife and I stayed for 5 days. Quiet neighborhood, and house right on the oceanfront. Easy drive to many locations, including Kona, Waimea, Hilo, even Volcano. Great kitchen, great master bedroom & bath. We spent a lot of time on the lanai watching the ocean. We hope to come back to this house on a future visit to the Big Island.

We love Puako!

Snorkel/dive boates anchor 100 yds from the lanai. Great to be able to walk right into the water from our lanai. The place is a turtle haven. We snorkeled right of shore twice then went 1/2 mile east to the "Keyhole" for easier entry and more variety of fish including an eagle ray

Darling beach cottage right on the Ocean!

The house was extremely comfortable with particularly cute, beachy finishes and tons of great furniture for lounging and relaxing. It is on one of the nicer “beach” areas of Puako and has its own sand. We would definitely go again.

Beautiful & comfy house

This house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-designed with a terrific covered porch overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is excellent and well equipped. We loved the neighborhood, which is also close to lots of fun places & activities. A+ experience.
