Gulf Shores, Alabama is a family-friendly beachfront town. This condo is located WALKING DISTANCE from one of Gulf Shores' most popular tourist attractions and a must-see place while you're down here, The Hangout. Other activities offered in this area include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, parasailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

Great place to stay for a family vacation

Property was a bit run down, but the condo itself was great. Had everything needed for a great stay. Dishes/pots/pans/etc., laundry, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room, balcony, tv in each room and living room, some games. Money saved on eating out nearly made up the difference in this place and a nice hotel.

Fantastic week!

Couldn’t say anything better about this unit! We truly enjoyed our stay. We read previous reviews that the elevator and construction were issues which made me nervous but we did not encounter any problems! The pool was a tad bit cold but the kids didn’t care! Highly recommend!!

The elevator continually quit working. That was frustrating. Otherwise everything was wonderful. We could see dolphins from our balcony every morning. Beautiful condo.

Beautiful

Stayed in 4D and it was perfect. We loved it. Only issue we had overall was the elevator not working.

The condo itself is a bit outdated. The day we got there the elevator wasn’t working and I had to call maintenance (which never called me back) thankfully we had no other issues with the elevator the rest of the stay. My biggest complaint was the lock on the balcony sliding door was broken. Not a good thing with a 3 yr old in our party. The unit itself was very nice, as pictured. Could probably use a few more larger pots and pans. We had a party of 9 and had a hard time cooking for that many with the small pans included. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The balcony was perfect! Right on the ocean. We watched dolphins every morning and evening.

We stayed from August 29-September 1!!My thoughts on this condo. First, I loved the view, it was pretty clean and stocked with essentials that were needed to begin our stay! We all really loved the view and how close we were to the beach.But…the main door really needs an extra lock higher up for extra safety and security especially with young children.The room with the bunk bed…the picture y'all showed made the room look so much bigger, it wasn’t that big. The whole bunk bed was very unstable to where it wasn’t even safe to sleep on. The bathrooms….the toilet seats are loose, if you are on the bigger side, you need to be extra careful!In the kitchen/livingroom, the 4 bench stools are extremely wobbly, a couple of them were not even usable.Overall, the condo needs updating and needs some minor repairs!!

Great location!

The location was great! The condo is very small. It does sleep 10 with the sofa bed as advertised. However, it is too small for that many people to be comfortable in it. I have stayed in many others that advertise more and have the same number of beds but more square footage. This would be better for a family of 4-5. The condo was clean. However, the elevator is under renovation and beyond scary. It also quit working on our last day which meant carrying luggage down several flights of stairs. The view was fantastic. A few hangers would also be very nice to have in the closets to hang clothes.

Fun Week!

The property is in a great location. The property was surface clean. There were minor hiccups such as a leak or a condensation leak right before we checked out but they had someone there to check it out within 20 minutes of me notifying them. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people. The couch pullout was not conducive to a good night’s sleep and there were no sheets to fit it. The master bedroom bed was hard as a rock, so if you do better on a stiff (as a board) mattress, that’s for you. Overall, great area, nice condo - nice decor and adequate furnishings but not really for more than 6 to 8 people comfortably. The owners were great to deal with and checked in with me after we checked in and the next day, which was great and appreciated.

Not bad

The listing photos make the condo appear larger than it actually is, but it was a pretty place. I didn't appreciate that the 5 gallon buckets and cans of paint for the walls were being stored in one of the closets bc this stole valuable storage space. The stackable washer-dryer were small, which limited the laundry load size. The laundry closet could hold a flull-size washer-dryer set, and that would've been helpful. The main bath was small with an awkward layout, and omiting the door between the sinks and the shower and toilet room would be helpful. Also, changing the door going into the bathroom from a swinging door to a pocket door would help minimize the tightness and improve the functionality of that space... or, maybe I just watch too much "Beachfront Bargain Hunt Renovation" on TV. Who knows? I read a review that talked about problems with the elevators breaking down, but I dismissed it bc the review was written in 2012 or 2013. I thought surely the matter had been taken care of by now, but, unfortunately, the elevator still breaks down, and this happened a couple of times during our stay. I know that I've stayed in larger, nicer condos in Gulf Shores for the same price in the past, so I was somewhat disappointed, but I do appreciate the ease of checking into and out of the property.
