Disappointed in Cleanliness and Comfort
I stayed at this property for a 3-night business trip and was simply looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest after long workdays. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of those expectations.The home had a persistent musty odor and did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. I noticed residue and splatters on surfaces, as well as stray hairs in both the sink and shower—suggesting only a surface-level cleaning. The majority of the house is carpeted, which may contribute to the musty smell, and the carpets themselves didn’t appear freshly cleaned.The kitchen was very minimally stocked, with no basic essentials like spices, foil, ziplock bags, or steak knives. I was informed on the day of arrival that the previous guests had stayed for a week and that restocking was delayed, which wasn’t reassuring given the overall condition.The bed and bedding were uncomfortable, and one evening I returned to find there was no hot water for my shower, despite not using any other appliances that day. While a washer and dryer are available, detergent is not provided—something that would have been helpful to know in advance.On a positive note, the neighborhood was quiet, felt safe, and was easy to access, which I did appreciate.
