Beautiful 2 bed flat near Portobello Rd market and Notting Hill

Bright 2 bedroom flat on a very quiet road only 15 mins walk from Portobello Market and very close Notting Hill.
There are 3 tube stops within 15 min walk (Central Line and Hammersmith & City Line) and a bus stop 5 mins walk away (buses 23, 52, 70, 28, 295, 452).
The flat is right opposite a beautiful park with a playground perfect for younger kids.
There is a convenience store, a great Thai restaurant and a cafe all less than a minute away.
The second bedroom has a double bunk suitable for two and there's also a roll-out futon on the floor for kids not wishing to share a bed.
Black out curtains in both bedrooms.
There's no shower - only a bathtub.
This was my home (we've temporarily moved out of town), and as such it's all done with love and care.

Neat and cozy

It was surprisingly neat and cozy to accommodate up to 4-5 persons if needed so it pleasantly spacious for us three. Very functioning toilet/kitchen/bathing. We saved couple of out-dining due to the convenience of making meals which means a lot in London.

Just...lovely

We spent a wonderful week during the festive season including christmas here. So it was necessary to have a home base in London where you can relax after long days/nights in the city and also spend christmas while the whole city is in some kind of lockdown on the 25th. Lucy's house has it all. We were literally calling it "going home" when we took the 7 or the 220 back to here.Every single detail of this cozy space is special and well selected.

Home Away from Home: Three Wonderful Weeks at Lucy’s Flat

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at Lucy’s flat for just over three weeks — it was a fantastic time and one we won’t soon forget. The property itself is fantastic with plenty of space to lounge, relax or work. Having a kitchen and cookware was a plus to try and live in as opposed to heading out nightly. We also came to love the bathtub situation and regularly looked forward to relaxing after a long day of exploring. The location had plenty to offer in terms of public transport. With the number 7 bus being our trusty sidekick. When taking the bus was not the right choice, a 15 min walk to either the Central or Circle/Hammersmith lines was in order. I think my only recommendation for those venturing out would be to plan ahead and leave enough time to walk to the tube station or wait for the bus. As far as food — there is a fantastic Thai place across the street, as well as a shop and coffee spot. Would recommend. Just around the corner was the healthy grocery store, Tumeric and Honey (which we regularly frequented) and a Tesco other needs. There is a limited amount of food options in the immediate area, and usually going out would require a short bus ride to get to a slightly busier party of town. Not an issue, as it left the area around the flat a quiet one and that was appreciated. There’s a lovely park across the street too, full of runners and dog walkers alike. Ultimately we appreciated Lucy’s hospitality from afar and felt at home in this cozy flat!

Für Familien perfekt!

Wir hatten mit unseren zwei Jungs eine schöne Woche. Gegenüber liegt ein großer Park, die Kinder waren oft auch alleine dort. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, ein Messbecher wäre noch hilfreich gewesen, aber wir konnten uns helfen. Lucy hat immer innerhalb weniger Stunden auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Als wir beim einchecken Probleme hatten, stand sie auch telefonisch zur Verfügung und hat uns weitergeholfen! Insgesamt eine Unterkunft, die wir guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen können!
