Your Frogtown FarmHaus circa 1790 getaway with 2 foot stone walls in this amazing house, which has been in the family since 1923 with deeds tracing back to William Penn. It is secluded off Conestoga Ridge Scenic Byway with a beautiful view overlooking farmland, cows in the pasture, Cedar Run stream, pond, & Welsh Mountains, located between Churchtown & Blue Ball.

With 4 bedrooms, including 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed, there's plenty of space for you, including a reading room on the second floor. Master bedroom & one full bathroom are located on first floor. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub (upstairs has bathtub, too) shower, toilet, hair dryer, etc. House features all the essentials you need for a prefect stay with washing machine, dryer, WiFi, heating & central air conditioning.

There is plenty of space for you & your quests to relax, unwind, or start touring PA Dutch/Amish County & cooking. Close to Shady Maple Smorgasbord (largest in the country), market, gift shop, & Good’s Store.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord was recently voted the top buffet in the country by “USA Today” reader’s choice. In honor of our closest neighbors winning this award - Stay 5 or more consecutive nights at Frogtown FarmHaus & you will be rewarded with a $100 gift card to Shady Maple Farm Market, Smorgasbord, or Gift Shop.

You can make your own breakfast in a fully stocked kitchen (4 saddle bar stools) with combo coffee & Keurig pot, toaster, etc. Also, on the first floor is dining room, den/living room with smart TV, utility room & access to the covered front & back porch. Enjoy the sounds of rain (on the tin roof), geese & ducks on the pond, songbirds and the twilight sounds of frogs & “lightning” bugs/fireflies.


Nestled in a serene location, this property offers a tranquil retreat for your vacation.
We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house & maybe, the sound of rain on the tin roof.
This is a working farm, you are welcome to observe, take pictures but the barn is off limits.
Outdoor games, books, puzzles, table games, etc. are available for you to use & enjoy.
Outside landscaping is a work in progress this Spring & Summer.

This property was amazing as well as the hosts. We stayed for 9 days and enjoyed the peaceful setting, as well as the close proximity to whatever we needed. The property contained all the modern amenities while keeping the historical features to the property! I cannot speak highly enough about the owners. They were easy to communicate with and always seemed to make sure that the property was prepared for whatever weather that would arise!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming house in Pennsylvania! From the moment we arrived, the thoughtful touches made us feel right at home — the goodies on the counter and fresh milk in the fridge were such a treat. We especially loved sitting outside and watching the cows, which made the experience even more relaxing and memorable. The location was perfect and very convenient to our events. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming place to stay!

We loved staying at the Farmhaus. Our favorites were the resident cows and the ice cream across the street. We had the best accommodations for a family wedding.

We had a lovely time at this wonderful farm house!! Cows to see, geese in the pond, maybe a Blue Heron standing by the pond. The house was well stocked and supplied. We really liked the beds already made!! We felt like we were “home”!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was immaculate, and there were many homey touches, including a lovely basket with local jelly, apple butter, glow sticks & lots of pamphlets for local places. The home was exactly as described, with plenty of space for our party of 7. The kitchen was well stocked & we were able to find all that was needed to cook a meal.We loved being up close with the cows, seeing the Amish buggies go by, and just the peaceful setting. They had games, and even a croquet set, which we enjoyed!

This farm house (haus if you will) was INCREDIBLE! The house was so clean and looked very new inside! Lots of homey decor which makes you never want to leave. The farm is gorgeous and the cows frequently moo-ed a hello. Loren and his nephews were kind and let us see the cows across the street and give them some hay. We will definitely be coming back.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay! The house was well done with plenty of information about the history of the house as well as fun things to do around Lancaster. My son loved waking up and running to see the cows every morning. It was a very peaceful place in the evening to wind down, loved the wind chimes on the back porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was extremely clean and well furnished, kitchen was well stocked, property was gorgeous. There was ample space for 5 adults and 2 young children to sit and relax both indoors and outside. The house is situated far from the road so it was very quiet but we enjoyed seeing the buggies go by. My young grandchildren enjoyed visiting with the cows daily. We hope to return again next year to create new family memories.

This little farm house is everything you read about by the other people who have stayed here. We have stayed in no less than thirty VRBO houses and this one is definitely in the top three!

A beautiful restored old farmhouse! It was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. It is a working farm so we enjoyed watching the cows. The host was very attentive and answered quickly if there was a question. A basket of goodies awaited us including a gift card to Shady Maple Smorgasbord. This restaurant is about 1 mile away. The scenery at the farm is gorgeous and there are 2 porches to sit on and enjoy it. They have a well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed cooking together. There were plenty of fresh towels and washcloths. All of the beds were comfy and freshly made . All in all this is a lovely place to stay and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Lancaster Co.
