Live in a part of history in the converted carriage house on the estate of the Barclay-Bryan House. This upstairs apartment affords private accommodations close to Scott & White, VA hospital, Texas A&M Health Science Center and dining in downtown Temple. Easy access to all of Bell County and surrounding area (30 min. to Waco, 45 min. to north Austin). Finish your day and unwind by the pool.

    The cottage was amazing the owners were wonderful we enjoyed the extra snacks they provided. We felt very welcomed and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

    What a wonderful hidden gem! It was perfect for our mini family reunion. George was responsive and the dogs are great. The pool was a great place to unwind and relax. The extras in the house were very unexpected, from the drinks to the snacks I highly recommend this hidden gem. When we come back we will be staying here.

    Such a beautiful place with thoughtful extra touches inside. The pool and hot tub area and plants were so nice and the hosts were very kind. We hope to go again soon!! Nice decor too...loved all the sparkle twisted glass peices. Bonus...yummy taco truck across the street. Thank you for a great stay!

    Absolutely Amazing

    We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house, pool, and outside area was even better than pictured. The owners were super sweet and easy to communicate with regarding any questions. We hope to get to stay there again in the future!

    Family Vacay in Temple

    The property was well maintained and clean. We felt very comfortable relaxing at the pool. We especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evening gazing at the stars.

    Great place for a family

    Awesome place

    The place was very clean. The property managers were amazing to work with. It is one of the prettiest places we have stayed and enjoyed every minute of it. The pool was very refreshing/enjoyable for the kiddos. This is a place we would stay again.

    Quiet Relaxing Stay

    We were visiting Temple in order to visit family. The house was perfect for the 4 of us that stayed there. The pool and spa were a welcome extra for us. This is a beautiful property and the hosts are kind and gracious. We really enjoyed the stay. Lots of little "special" perks and gestures made it extra special.

    The guest house is very nice and I would recommend others to stay there. There are a few inaccuracies however that need to be taken into consideration. The listing doesn’t inform you that it’s a second floor walk up apartment. I thought it was the whole house with bedrooms upstairs based upon the add. The pool and pergola area are beautiful. However, the hot tub doesn’t have a heater or jets but it does have the fountain in the middle as pictured. The gate doesn’t open or close by remote so you have to open and close it manually. Not a big deal but inconvenient; especially in inclement weather. The host was great and the property was very well maintained. I look forward to visiting again with my wife as it would be a great weekend getaway for couples

    Such a nice place to stay

    We loved the property and would stay here again such a cool place to enjoy with a huge yard for the kids. We would have loved to use the pool if Texas storms had the water cold we did put our feet in and relaxed awhile.
