Thanks for staying with us. We have hosted families for over a decade and have never received 3 stars, as we make every effort to ensure our guests are happy. As we did when we purchased the special pans and utensils you requested before you arrived, allowed you to park a car in the driveway 5 hours before checkin and prepared the house so you could check in early. We communicated numerous times during your stay when you asked for extra keys and could not find the bath towels(in the bathroom closet), so it’s very surprising that you never mentioned your dissatisfaction with the lower level. Had you contacted me I would have come right over to address any issues (as I did with the extra keys). We have a wall mini split A/C and dehumidifier and a separate floor dehumidifier by the bathroom which are more than adequate to keep the space dry without any odors as noted by reviews from previous and subsequent guests. And we also have an Ionic Hepa air purifier in that space for guests with any allergies. We make every effort to treat our guests the way we like to be treated when we are on vacation and it’s surprising you didn’t mention this during our multiple calls and messages.

We have hosted families for 13 years and we make every effort to ensure our guests are happy and comfortable. As we do with all, guests we asked you to call or text us anytime, day or night, if you have any questions or issues with the house, the area, restaurant suggestions, etc. It’s concerning that the issues you listed in your review were not raised with us during your stay. If you had, we could have told you there were more pans in the stove drawer. Although it has never been a problem for other guests to intuitively locate them without any assistance. In terms of, as to what we provide, all items are listed on the VRBO property page so you can review all features of the house before you agree to book. Also, you had 11 months to review this information. While we don't provide paper products we do, as a courtesy in each bathroom provide one roll of toilet paper, hand soap and a roll of paper towel in the kitchen. This allows guests to unpack their cars and then go do their grocery shopping. It appears your intention is to misinform future guests about their stay in our home. It may simply be that a New England costal type of vacation was not to your liking. Especially given your complaints about coastal conditions, which include things like seaweed on the beach— which is generally expected, as well as the humidity that comes with rainy coastal days. The guests, before and after your stay, contacted us to say how everything was perfect and they didn't need anything, which is usually the standard response.
