Located in the gated Wachesaw Plantation Club community, is this 2-bedroom cottage. Nestled in a tranquil setting of a live oak grove (over 200 live oaks age of 250+ years) this phenomenal property offers a cozy escape for guests. A leisurely stroll thru the oak grove is one of the most serene experiences that you could ever imagine.

The gated WPC community offers the following amenities for our guests:
- Owner has a golf club membership allowing guest access to
our private golf club and full practice facilities. Ask for
details.
- Owner membership also allows guest access to our 8 clay
tennis courts. Two are converted to accommodate
pickleball, as well.
- Kimbel's and Magnolia's are our onsite restaurants, for your
convenience.
- Walking distance to our WPC community pool.
- Short distance to the Marshwalk, featuring several restaurants and shopping
- Minutes to Huntington Beach State Park, our local "quiet" beach.
-30 minutes to the Myrtle Beach boardwalk or shopping at either Broadway at the Beach
or the Tanger Outlets

Each bedroom features a comfortable queen bed (as a space-saving, Murphy bed in the second bedroom), ensuring a terrific night's sleep. With 2 full bathrooms, you'll have all the necessary amenities for a refreshing stay. The additional living room space, complete with a sofa bed, provides a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Book now and enjoy everything this cottage has to offer.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate all of your cooking needs. There is both a breakfast nook and dining area, in immediate proximity to the kitchen.

The screened in back porch is quiet and peaceful and includes an electric tabletop grill for additional cooking flexibility.

The cottage was great. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. Conveniently located to lots of area attractions. Neighbors on the other side were quiet as were the surrounding cottages. I appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts, too!

Beautiful setting

Enjoyed a short stay. Hope to return again someday as we visited over a holiday and many area activities weren’t available. The setting is amazing…live oaks and homes nestled among the trees. Quiet and relaxing.

Lovely cottage nestled in beautiful live oaks.

The cottage was nicely decorated & had any supply you might need. The owner was delightful to work with. An added plus is the restaurant, Kimballs; but make a reservation beforehand. The Wachesaw Plantation Club is a beautiful community.

Beautiful Neighborhood

The property over delivered on the beautiful community , well appointed house, and communication with our host. The location is close to so many shops and attractions, but also a great place to chill out and cook at home. We loved it!

Perfect Fit

We were looking for a quiet place to stay that was close to a variety of activities & restaurant choices. This property was just right for us. The property itself is beautiful. It is very comfortable & welcoming. The neighborhood is so beautiful with the live oak trees with Spanish moss. And it was very peaceful. We also loved how it was a short drive to the beach, lots of restaurants & activities. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful cottage.. everything you need is there . Like home away from home if you love golf,beaches,restaurants and shopping youll love this place now about your host ron he went above and beyond as a host and questions you had he was quick to answer one of my best vacations.ever With the hurricane approaching he offered if i wanted to stay another night free of charge .. just want to thank ron and we definitely be back we found a home away from home

Cottage in the Oaks

Wonderful stay for our family! Highlights include: * extraordinary neighborhood: housing and facilities carefully planned around beautiful hundreds-of-years-old live oaks, well-maintained landscaping, river just a short walk out the door, all isolated from commercial development yet in close proximity to many, many activities, * cottage warm & welcoming with lovely decor and many nice touches/conveniences/comforts of home placed throughout; furniture & beds comfortable, kitchen utensils & appliances abundant, lots of books & games available, pool, golf & tennis facilities outstanding and all within walking distance, * check-in and check-out super easy, * host wonderfully responsive, hospitable, and a delightful human being!

Beautiful SC getaway

First of all, incredible communication with the host. Fast to respond and delightful to work with. The home is situated in a live oak forest with Spanish Moss literally dripping everywhere. Huge old oaks defy description. Very homey and especially loved the screened in porch. We were golfing and what a retreat to return to. Brunswick Plantation is quiet and gorgeous and minutes from attractions and restaurants. Brookgreen Gardens is a local gem! This home will not disappoint. Beautiful, clean, with lovely updated bathrooms. Wanted for nothing in the kitchen, well stocked and nice appliances. My only regret is we didn't book more days. Can't wait to return!!

Peaceful Retreat

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this duplex in Murrells Inlet. We frequent Litchfield and Pawleys, but this was our first time staying in Wachesaw. We appreciated how close the home was to Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens. The central location even encouraged us to travel to Broadway at the Beach a few times. Tony was a very helpful and informative host. The neighbors were friendly, and the pool was great. My husband and I enjoyed the food and drinks from Magnolia’s, and our 3 and 5 year old enjoyed swimming with the neighborhood kids. The home was so quiet and well-appointed that we even spent a few evenings just cooking dinner and hanging out in the living room. The screened in back porch was a wonderful place to enjoy some shade. We would definitely recommend this home to golfers or families who enjoy the quieter side of the Myrtle Beach/Murrells Inlet area.
