Winesburg cabin stay
We loved our stay. The house was beautiful. The neighborhood so quaint. We frequented the pizza and ice cream shop right across the street and the coffee shop a couple blocks down. I did read this in other reviews so I was prepared for it and did not count it as a negative…but the house is old and likely not well insulated and was right on the highway so the traffic noise could be loud. This area seems to be a route for large semi trucks. It wasn’t bothersome during the day and we had ear plugs at night…which I would highly recommend or it could be negative. Just be prepared. Also turn on and down the a/c as soon as you check it…once again old house in the summer and heat rises. It took a while to cool down the 2nd story bedrooms (we did not have anyone sleep in 3rd story attic but it was very hot but it did have its own window unit). The first night was warm until it cooled down but was pleasant the rest of the time. I would recommend someone turn down the a/c before guests arrived. Overall great stay and we would absolutely return.
