Booked the quart room for the trip 3 nights. Upon check in: 1) served fine iced tea 2) couldn't find
Booked the quart room for the trip 3 nights. Upon check in:
1) served fine iced tea
2) couldn't find my booking and finally upgrade us to 2 room apartment for 2 nights - due to over booked of quart rooms and last night on 2 room with sea view. - disappointed since its 2 separate room but since it's sea view. We accepted.
3) we were told the quart room is not sea view as advertised! - disappointed!
4) deposit of 2000bath or 1 passport with them - should mention in the advert.
During the stay:
1) front desk told us they can't give us 2 rooms seas view on the last night as promised coz its overbooked AGAIN! Keep mentioning "since we have upgraded you to the two room apartment and apartment is more expensive then hotel" I did not want to debate further with front desk ... Due to the following reasons:
- booked quart room as mentioned seaview
- overbooked of rooms is not my issue
- "upgrading" me to 2 room apartment is due to the overbook also not my issue.
2) the 2 room apartment - toilet door is not closing properly... The shower area is flooded when shower, the sink underneath is leaking, 1 king size bed - mattress quality no good and a sofa bed...
The only thing that's perfect in the apartment is the sea view! Thumbs up!
3) the connecting room on the last day
- hotel people helped us to move our stuffs to the hotel next door.
- though it's not sea view, the rooms are better then the apartment.
Checkout
Was told check out is 1pm but last day was told 12pm. Anyway we got ready and check out as soon.
This is done perfectly.
Overall, besides the hiccups of overbooking, moving rooms and inaccurate advert of seas view or non seaview; the front hotel/apartment location is perfect for tourist want to stay at patong. Walked across to patong beach. . Staffs are friendly and try to be helpful.
