From the moment our driver collected us at Zadar, we knew we were in safe hands. Tony and his beautiful wife Sylvia had sorted everything to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. We were collected from the airport and driven to an overnight apartment which was spacious and comfortable. The following morning , we were collected and taken to the ferry for our sail to Ist. Sylvia met us at the ferry port and we walked the 3/4 minutes to the villa.
Superb is not the word, this place was excellent. We were the second family to stay at the villa. Everything was faultless. The rooms were well furnished, there was entertainment for the children. Most of the rooms are air conditioned. Plenty of bathrooms too. If there wasn't enough room inside, the outside was even better with your very own taverna with a fire stove, fridge, sink etc. The pool was looked after daily and the kids loved it. Wth the temperature in the late 30's, we needed it. The restaurants all around serve fresh food. Make sure you try the one to the right of the villa, serving fresh roast piglet daily, but be quick, it books up fast.
The island is small, beautiful and charming. You can hire a boat if you wish. We did and travelled around for 3 separate days, island and harbour hopping. Something else Sylvia can organise.
She is an absolute peach as a host and I would recommend her villa to you in a heartbeat. We may even return as it was so tranquil and relaxing with everything within walking distance.
P.S. We felt very relaxed with the children wondering off by themselves to explore. Make sure you visit the little church at the top of the hill. Breathtaking views at sunset.
