Friendly Host Not Clean
Host was friendly and prompt on arrival. Kitchen and bathroom had not been professionally cleaned. Hair in sink, bathtub not clean, hair on back of toilet and dishes in the dish rack on counter. I spent an hour cleaning and putting the hosts food, old soaps etc away so my family would stay.
Bedrooms were clean and organized. My son complained that someone must have been vaping or smoking in the room he slept.
I reached out to host to have cleaning fee returned but he did not respond to the request.
Finally, host told us he was supposed to register us as guests but he was not. He said if asked we should say we were his friends.
Disappointed that we started off our family reunion weekend this way. Hopefully host will get his act together before he rents again.
