Nice facility. Check-in was easy. Great kitchen. Great porches.Highly recommended, hope to come back again.Suggest advertising the property differently stating a range of bedrooms such as up to 6 bedrooms. It takes two rentals to obtain the 6 bedrooms, one for the main building and one for the basement. This did not impact my trip but could be an issue for others.The outdoor grill needs work and a fan in the upstairs bathroom needs to be replaced.Otherwise, everything else was fine.

The house was perfect for our family and the kitchen worked for us.. We thought we were going to be in Greer, but it was Alpine. It worked out perfect but plans did have to change because of the location..

Another Great Stay!

This was the 3rd time we have rented this cabin for our annual trip with friends and family. Everything was great. The cabin is always clean and has all that we need. Our communication with the owner was very positive. We will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommended for your next trip to Alpine.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. The balcony overlooks beautiful scenery and is so peaceful. The dining room table could seat a very large group. Downstairs is like its own apartment and the kids loved it. The host was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this property!

Great stay

Cool location. Had all the amenities we could ever need. Host was welcoming and quick to respond! We watched elk playin the yard and wolves howling in the distance! More stars then we have ever seen.

Summer get away.

Three siblings got together for a long weekend, away from the valley heat. Quiet, serene and beautiful location. saw a herd of elk from the back porch. Just as described if not even better.

Alpine cabin

The cabin was big enough to accommodate our family of 15. The main floor and upstairs were very nice. The basement play area and bedrooms were not up to the same cleanliness as the upstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped which made meal prep very easy. The large dining room table is able to accommodate a large crowd. We had an issue we addressed with the host that has hopefully been taken care of. The neighbors dog, while very friendly, took off with some of the kids toys.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and nicely decorated. The host was very kind and communicated with us whenever we had questions. There was plenty of room for our family of 12, and we needed for nothing while staying here.

Maintenance

Property in need of upkeep. Window and gas fireplace not functioning (knocked $75 off for fireplace). Dust ruffle in master has a large drooping tear. Lower cabinets need to be cleaned. Three coffee makers. First one we tried did not work. Second worked. No coffee filters. Outside not remotely cleaned up. Front entry steps make shift and could be a hazard. Great seating in the living room. Cost doesn’t align with my expectation. Finally, heard “gnawing” sounds in master bedroom and saw fecal material along the corner walls. Could not walk due to rough neighbors down the road.

The cabin is stunning on the outside and warm and welcoming throughout. You will feel right at home from the minute you step in the door. There are amazing views of the national forest meadow below as well as the privacy of thick Ponderosa pine which surround the cabin. Inside there is a large primary bedroom and 3 cozy bedrooms upstairs and 2 more in the basement. The kitchen is very well equipped with stainless steel appliances, a gourmet Viking range with six burners, double oves and griddle, granite countertops, beautiful dishes and all the kitchenware to cook up a dinner for 20 people or to make tea for 1. The expansive Great room offers comfortable chairs and sofas as well as a view of the rafters and the 25 foot peak of the ceiling.
