Tranquil 2 bedroom/2 bathroom house is super comfortable for 4 guest; it is located in a peaceful neighborhood and only 5 minutes walk to grocery stores, gas station, ATM and a few nice restaurants. Enjoy a nice 30 minutes walk to the heart of town and explore our museum, local arts and craft shops or the farmers market for your fresh fruits and vegetables. Our in town mayan temple "Cahal Pech" is also a 30 minute walk from Elle's. Local Taxi (green license plates) are also easily accessible.

Each room has its private bathroom, air conditioner and hot & cold water and Firestick Smart TV. It offers a kitchenette area well compacted with a counter, a dining table, 4 burner gas stove/oven, basic pots, plates and utensils, 2-door refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and the essentials like salt and pepper.
The double lot houses another building (Elle's Studio #1 and #2) that is also offered for short term stays. The property is fenced, providing safe parking for all guests.

Guests have complete access to the building (stands alone); however, the property, which is a double lot also has another building (2 floor) that is rented to guest as studio #1 (upper floor) and studio #2 (lower floor).

Other things to note:
Air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms only; however, the area is usually windy so you will enjoy the natural breeze through the screened windows or while relaxing on the porch.

Elia is a fantastic host with a lovely group of cottages that she lovingly maintains with a beautiful garden. We looked forward to catching up with her regularly. Easy access to restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Immaculate, Well-Organized & Perfectly Located!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! We were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the property was. Everything felt fresh, organized, and thoughtfully arranged, making our stay incredibly comfortable.The location was perfect for exploring San Ignacio’s top attractions—close to downtown, restaurants, and just a short drive to amazing sites like Xunantunich, and the ATM Cave. Elle was responsive and provided everything we needed, from clear instructions to helpful local tips. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Very nice, clean, and modern apartment

The apartment was clean with modern appliances. Elia was very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

If you're reading this review, it means you're still shopping. Good news, you can stop now! Do yourself a favour - double the length of time you planned to stay here and book Elle's Place for the entire time. There are easily a weeks worth of activities that are within a one-hour drive of Elle's. The place is perfect! Particularly for families. Our family of four loved having the two bedrooms, the kitchen was small but had everything you need (great microwave, great gas stove). This is a rare gem, and I promise you won't be disappointed if you follow my advice. The host genuinely cares about your experience and will go out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Don't take her for granted, but definitely take her up on her offer of renting her place. Spotless, well-appointed, great location that is close to everything but quiet and tucked away. Whether you want to sit on the rocking chair on the porch with a good book, or go Cave Kayaking an hour up the highway, or have a great launching off point for a foray into Guatemala, you will likely not find a better place, so if it's available, BOOK IT NOW!
