Perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, horseback Riders, or Hikers, there’s plenty to do…Near Pickett State Park, Big South Fork, Horse Riding trails, ATV park, and miles of Hiking trails. Enjoy your adventures and rest up and recharge at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have provided all the essentials for a delightful experience.
The space
Private Cabin with lovely pond and wooded views. Guests must be able to climb stairs to access sleeping areas.

Do not leave children unattended, there are many types of wildlife and other hazards in the area. Please use caution on the steps and balconies inside and outside the home, and around pond area.

We enjoyed the rustic environment. We saw a black bear, deer and turkeys from the porch. We will stay there again when we are in the area.

This is a very unique house. I would say it was designed specifically to be a "travel-stay" home as opposed to a standard home. It was a fun place to stay. I would not recommend it if you have balance issues. Otherwise, we had a great time and enjoyed the property.

Cute cabin that was well taken care of. Is quiet and remote so sleeping was very peaceful.

4th of July family reunion

Great place. Great location. Clean. So many neat features. The downstairs bathroom is beyond cool. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table! The only issue we had was it was tricky to lock the door with the key but once we figured it out it was no big deal. I will def rent this property again in the future!

Beautiful cabin, and a perfect location.

I rented this cabin for a gathering of my friends and I. We all enjoyed this cabin. It was clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique cabin to stay at. The location is perfect as well. It was very quiet and peaceful.

This home is absolutely beautiful!

We loved our stay in this home. It is so very unique! It was so clean and had all the things you would need on a trip. Towels , linens, sheets, paper towels, dish, soap, coffee maker, all the pots and pans you would need to cook……. We loved that there was a grill there! They really went above and beyond! We have stayed in many and this was our favorite!

Get away

It was quiet and peacful at the cabin. The horses next door were a wonderful surprise to watch run and play. The hot tub was set on eco mode so did not get very hot.(we had a busy schedule so we did not relay this to the manager). Im sure if we did it would have been addressed..The cabin was comfy and there was plenty of room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Family reunion

Our family really enjoyed the stay at the get-away near the lake! The scenery was beautiful, secluded, and met our needs. Communication with the owner was easy with a quick turn around. The only issue was that we had no cell service which might be what some folks might like. It made it difficult to make contact when there was an issue. We had to drive to town in jamestown to get cellular service. One of the members of our party was diabetic and so was a concern but did not become an issue. Thsnk you for letting us stay!

You can explore the nearby Parks and Recreational areas by Hiking, or Horseback riding. Our barn on the property can easily accommodate 4 horses (YOU MUST GET HOST APPROVAL TO USE BARN, Additional fees may apply) We have plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers.
