Dear Leyla, I’m so sad to read this review, but judging from your demeanor even Before you checked in it’s par for course. You were complaining before you even got to the house And perhaps that allows you get more bang for your buck I.e the wine and the refund I gave you. I understand this is a stressful time with Covid and all so we hoped for the best. I really don’t think your review was fair. To respond to your specific complaints:...... Field mice are an issue in Vermont. I feel horrible because they are so cute, but we have an exterminator with outdoor and indoor traps. However, you can’t keep the doors wide open with people going in the treehouse and hot tub and not expect them to get in. Personally, I don’t know how you were able to get the dishwasher to overflow unless you put regular dish soap in not dishwasher soap inside the unit. When people do that it overflows with bubbles. I did see towels on the floor from you but we ran it right after and it was perfectly fine. The two rentals after you have had no problem The propane tank was replaced two weeks prior, but sometimes people leave the valve open. Even though we ask people to close the valve every so often people leave it open. As far as your complaints with the neighbors..... I complained to that family that they had a party and asked them to keep it down. They informed me they did not have a party that they were outside by the fire pit talking. The beauty with outdoor cameras in all of our homes is that I can check what we people report. If they did have a party it would be in violation of the agreement and I would have had them removed. With all due respect though, I played those cameras and there was NO loud party there was no screaming. I occasionally heard some people laughIng. It would be like getting super upset over a bubbling dishwasher. I think we just were not a good match as some people are very hard to please no matter what. Some people make complaining a way of life. Mountains out of mole hills We have a clean comfortable home and we tend to our guests in real time and we truly want everyone to enjoy the beauty of Vermont and having a nice comfy home to enjoy at the end of the day. That is what we offer. I truly hope that you can let go of the negativity that you tend to focus on. Life is too short. Best of everything to you in your future endeavors.
