Enjoy yourself in our cozy and comfortable home, centrally located in the heart of Sault Ste. Marie. Just minutes away from multiple local attractions, including LSSU sporting events and campus, the I500 track, the Soo locks, multiple local restaurants/bars, snowmobile trails, walkable distance to playgrounds, ball fields and more. This home includes a stylish, cozy feel, along with a pet friendly and private fenced in backyard and large entertainment room with 70 inch TV and work area. Enjoy the outdoors with a deck, outdoor dining table, hot tub and grill! Free parking, washer, dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi and multiple other amenities included. There are several steps in the home from the foyer into the rest of the home and also going down into the laundry area. If steps are a concern for you, this may not be the house for you.

Our stay was great! The rooms were comfortable and clean and the hot tub was awesome. Casey was a wonderful host, very accommodating and responded to questions quickly. Highly recommend.

Main beds were super comfy but the mattress in the pullout in the entertainment room was as you’d expect - a thin mattress that is ok for kids but an adult would find it really uncomfortable! Loved the hot tub and fenced back yard. Close to the university, downtown, and within 10 mins of both hockey rinks, which was our priority for the stay. Far superior to staying in a hotel!

This home is super cozy and conveniently located! We found the layout really nice for our family of 6.. the add-on living room was absolutely perfect for family movie night. It also has little touches that make a rental homey, like the coffee bar (and add ins), plenty of dishes/bowls, beach towels by the hot tub door, and lots of lighting options.

Hot tub had way to many chemicals in it. Foamed up when starting, even after contacting host. Hard to sit in for more than a few minutes, hard to breath. The host did come and change some thing while we were out, but made not difference. Other than the hot tub snafu. ( It happens) Was a great location close to all the things we wanted to do in town. Cheers.

Once inside this property shines. Giving plenty of space for a family of four or even more, with pull out couch. The home was well spread out and the second sitting room was a great little area. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and even grill came with extra propane tank if needed. The hosts are great and thought about everything you would need.

Great trip!

Home was very clean and roomy. Area has a lot to do. We were there with our 10 year old grandson and he had a blast seeing the locks and Valley Camp museum. Hot tub was a plus and easy to open.

Great! Everything we needed

The property was nice and clean. We were close to downtown and was able to quickly get to the locks. My kids like walking to the big wooden playground a couple blocks away. The property was perfect for us and had everything we needed. A bonus was having a tv with netflix and hulu subscriptions. Thanks for everything!

Great yard, great location

Nice house in a great location. Upstairs is very clean. We appreciated the availability of fans and the bottle of wine from the host. The fenced yard was great, with a full privacy fence, deck, and picnic table; this was a perfect space for our dog. The entertainment room was a nice space, but has a strong, musty smell. Additionally, the basement doesn’t have any kind of door or gate, making it difficult to keep pets out.

Refuge in the storm

My husband had a work event in the area so we decided to visit the locks for the first time. We traveled through an unexpected storm to get there but it was worth it. The first thing we did upon our arrival was relax the hot tub while the snow blew around us- it was amazing! Casey was an exceptional host with detailed directions, thoughtful amenities including wine and fresh butt nuggets from their chickens. The beds were comfy and the coffee bar was fully stocked. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy Retreat!

We loved our stay here. All the comforts of home and more! We loved spending mornings in the sun room and evenings in the movie room. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and the hottub was welcomed after a day of hiking and rock hunting.
