The Little Mountain Cabin

Excellent accommodation. Well appointed house with plenty of outside space. One double bed, one sofa bed (double) and one inflatable double mattress. Fantastic.

A beautiful place , clean and quiet.

We enjoyed very much staying at little mountion cabin. It was perfect for us. We are going to recommend it to all our friends. The most successful thing for us was the small river in the back yard. The garden and the flowers are marvelous, and also the place for the fire. The decoration of the cabin is bewtiful. The towel, the blankets, the bears and the moos everywhere, really everything.

Gemütlich, sehr netter Kontakt, phantastische Gegend!!!!

Die Hütte ist hübsch und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, es mangelt an nichts. Genügend Feuerholz war vorhanden, muss aber auch selbst noch etwas kleiner gehackt werden. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch, leider baut der Nachbar grad ein Haus, so dass er dann die bessere Sicht auf die Berge hat;-) Supernetter und schneller Kontakt, wenn Fragen oder Probleme auftauchen. Hatten drinnen den Kamin angezündet und plötzlich trat warmes Wasser und Dampf aus der Leitung. Ansprechpartner ist auch vor Ort da, jedenfalls zu unserer Zeit. Man hat seine Ruhe dort und auch Überraschungen wie wechselnde Zaunsgäste (Pferde, Kühe, Hunde). Aber alles ganz entspannt. Wie fast alle dort! Ein toller Aufenthalt bei sehr sehr netten Gastgebern. Es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein:-)

Schon vom ersten Augenblick an, hat uns dieser Ort fasziniert. Für Menschen, die Abstand vom Alltag brauchen, ist es der perfekte Ort zur Erholung. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die schöne Landschaft vervollständigt die besondere Ausstrahlung. I grew up in Pennsylvania, USA, and always loved traveling. I traveled all over North America and Europe in the last 10 years. The Little Mountain Cabin , which is the place I have come to love; has a story. And yes, it's a love story. In Summer of 2012, a I traveled to Romania on a voluntary service trip, and met the love of my life in a nearby Romanian village. I couldn't forget her, and in the Fall of 2012 traveled back and we started a courtship. I stayed in Romania that Winter and studied and learned the Romanian language. And as time went on, the future looked brighter together. In July of 2013, we were joined in marriage. With the complexities of immigrating to America, we had to stay in Romania for considerable time after they were married, and so to provide a place to live until the paperwork was completed, we bought this peaceful piece of land and built a dream log cabin with our own hands. And thus was the cabin built for couples.

We now reside in Pennsylvania, USA, and come back to Romania periodically to spend time visiting her family and enjoy the mountains and memories of our love story. We did not want to sell the cabin that held so many precious memories, so we decided to share the romantic oasis with other couples looking for a place to be alone and spend quality time together in God's great outdoors. Great attention to detail is poured into this place to tailor it to making it the ideal place for peace, tranquilty, and relaxation where precious moments are savored with your loved one.

Whether you like to hike, ski or snowboard, watch for wildlife, trail ride with ATV's and motor bikes, grill your favorite meat outside, or simply relax in the comfort of the cabin with your feet propped up, it's all available to you here.

We loved the location of this piece of land. When we bought it, it was a bare field. After years of working at it, we have become quite fond of this little private oasis. The picnic area by the creek, the rustic log entrance with the wagon wheel chandelier, the view through the living room windows of the full moon over the mountains... the peacefulness and birds singing in the mornings are all what has made this place become special.
