Welcome to Villa Happy View at Mont Choisy – a charming, fully air-conditioned villa with a private pool, located in a peaceful and secure residence. Villa Happy View offers a fantastic view as the name suggests. We had a wonderful twelve day stay. The villa is very clean and up to date. The location is quiet and secure in an upscale gated community. We enjoyed the five to ten minute hikes to Fryer's bay and Happy Bay beaches but be aware that it is a hike on a somewhat rough trail. We had an excellent vacation at Villa Happy View and would highly recommend. We look forward to a future stay.

Wonderful location for hiking adventures to Friar's and Happy Bay. Nicely appointed beautiful renovations made for a very comfortable stay with plenty of room to spread out or perfect spots to gather together. Highly recommended.

Great Villa

Nothing is perfect and there will be little things that are good not great. It’s how the property contact handles and communicates that make the property 5 star. Guylene’s communication is phenomenal. If traveling from the US be sure to bring a couple EU to US power adapters. The walk from the Villa to Friar's Bay and the walk to Happy Bay is roughly 6-8 minutes each when not carrying stuff. The elevation of the Villa is 130 feet above sea level, so you are walking down then back up that amount. The path has some areas that are washed out and rocky so flip flops are not advisable. You really need some type of boat shoe or water shoe. My wife and I are 53 and 56 and we managed to walk to Friar's Bay once and Happy Bay 3x. The more you do it the easier it is, I'm just saying it's not a flat smooth path for the entire walk.Do not take valuables down to Happy Bay. While we never had a problem with anyone messing with our stuff, you will see local guys kind of loitering around back in the mangrove trees.There are small local grocery stores but we found the best quality and options available was at Super U.

Owners sent the most thorough text a few days ahead that had pics and codes and everything for a smooth and easy entrance. Nice workThe place is great and clean. Of note, while the deck has sunshine and shade, the pool is pretty much in the shade all day. That said, the temp seemed nicely warmer than other places we have stayed. Walk down the Frairs bay or Happy bay is pretty easy, but I would def wear shoes. House had everything we needed and check out was nice as they did not request we do everything like some places do. Just run the dishwasher and take out trash. Easy. Nice folks, I love the location with walking to at least 2 beaches ( the owners manual said u could walk to grand case but that seemed to much for an old man like me). Easy drive to Grand Case.

What I particularly like about this neighborhood is its calm and tranquility. You can walk to Happy Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, which has remained wild and preserved. The house is also very close to Grand Case, famous for its restaurants, Lolos and authentic atmosphere.

And then there is the view of the Caribbean Sea, which I never get tired of, at any time of the day. Finally, the neighborhood is secure, which makes the stay even more serene.
