Enjoyed our month long stay!
My husband, 6 year old and I stayed at Valerie's home for a month and we really enjoyed the space and location. It is located very close to Woodbine Park and the beach, and it is also close to the Leslieville and Beaches neighborhoods, along with the Queen St streetcar.
The house itself was a good fit for us, and we enjoyed the extra room bedroom to work or play in, along with the back deck bbq. The hot tub was drained for the summer.
The beds were super comfortable and the showers were great. One thing to note, is there is not a door on the master bathroom, which wasn't a big deal for us- and there is another bathroom in the hallway.
Valerie does control the thermostat with a schedule and she did work with us to get to a more comfortable temperature, as the upstairs does get quite a bit warmer than the downstairs.
There was a tenant downstairs during our stay and while we could hear they were down there, they were very quiet overall. We worried more about our noise level while on the first floor.
This was our first visit to Toronto and we all enjoyed getting to know the city and having Valerie's as our home base.
