Absolutely gorgeous home and property. We had a family reunion with 8 adults, 7 kids and this property was awesome. Lots of space to be together but lots of space to spread out as well. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool, fishing for crabs off the dock and playing yard games. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils, cookware, crock pot, etc. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

Lovely home and property. Kitchen was well equipped for large family dinners. Home was clean and had all the amenities. We enjoyed the pool and the yard was spacious for volleyball and for the kids to just run around and be kids. Watching the sunrise by the water was a bonus! My family and I had a great time and would definitely book this home again.

We loved our stay at Eaglehaven! We had 3 generations that enjoyed the expansive home. Plenty of fun table games, plenty of quiet nooks for napping and reading, plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful pool and yard! A well stocked kitchen was a bonus!

Wonderful place to stay for family or friends!

We were very impressed with the property and your place was very clean and had just about everything we needed. The location is wonderful and close to the event that we stayed in Cambridge for. I would definitely recommend this for others and will likely be renting again

Great Chesapeake experience

Lots of comfortable room. Gorgeous Choptank view, long dock for boating and crabbing. spectacular pool, huge yard for frisbee and baseball, pet friendly, bunk room over garsge with its own bathroom was a hit with the kids. A week filled with great fsmjly memories.

Beautiful Home for a family vacation.

Our family of 3 generations had a wonderful vacation in this gorgeous vacation home. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The fishing was great! We even spotted dolphins about 20 feet from the dock. We flew kites on the spacious property. The kayaks were also used. The pool table and ping ping tables were used almost every night. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had every thing we needed. We appreciated the file pit which was ready with our first fire. I highly recommend this property. Owen was extemely attentive to all of our need.

Perfection!

Eagle Haven offers absolute perfection in a vacation stay! The owner was there to greet us and orient us to the property. I am a real hotel snob and I felt super comfortable, as the home was spotless and very well stocked. We were able to enjoy serenity by the water and great proximity to town for items forgotten. I look forward to returning!

Something for Everyone

Everyone was extremely happy with the house and especially all the amenities that were included. From the 7 year olds to the oldest grandma, it was great . The pool , dock & all the indoor pool table & ping pong were all used . The kayaks were terrific. We would rent same house again when we go to Cambridge.

Beautiful home on Eastern Chesapeake

The house is spacious and very clean. All bedrooms are upstairs. The kitchen is u-shaped, with a large oven and stove w grill. Enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables. Beautiful, large outdoor pool. Location is close to Cambridge by land and by boat. Enjoyed touring nearby Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and the Harriett Tubman Underground Railroad museum.

Our Annual Chesapeake Vacation

This was our third year at Eagle Haven. We love the location on the Choptank River, and the views are spectacular. The house and surrounding property are immaculately maintained. Plenty of room for kids amd dogs to play, inside and out. Kids loved the pool. This house has everything we could ask for in a vacation property.

Our time spent at this property was wonderful! including absolutely beautiful weather every day!

Our family had a fabulous and fun long weekend including picture perfect weather every day! The large pool was well used by all! ( I think pool floats/ noodles, etc. could have been provided however we knew this ahead of time and had to go out and buy them to bring with us ) The house itself was spacious, had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable with nice linens. A definite plus having 2 refrigerators with a large group! The kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. We never used the formal dining room, meals all around the large table and outdoors. The grill was in absolute great shape, the cleanest of any rental property we’ve ever had! Unfortunately the crabbing wasn’t great so no chowder made this trip. Thanks for a great time!

Vacation on Maryland’s Eastern Shore

The house was lovely with plenty of room for all 13 of us. The pool was a godsend since it was in the 90’s all week and we didn’t want to go into the river. Unfortunately only one crab and many small fish were caught but the fishermen had fun. The only drawback was the lack of shade at the pool. It was a beautiful setting with an amazing view.

Great week on the Choptank

Beautiful property, well maintained. Kids loved the saltwater pool, nice dock. Great views of the Choptank River. Nice, quiet secluded location.

Family Vacation

The stay was fantastic. The house was great, there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the pool, the guys enjoyed the fishing off the dock, and we all enjoyed eating the fish. The crabs were not biting, maybe they were still in the deeper waters. The house was very clean and Owen was very responsive to questions. The view was fantastic.

Great trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle Haven! The owner, Owen was very responsive and helpful! The home was stunning and very clean. The only thing I will say is to bring your own essentials, like toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags as a very limited amount were supplied.

Beautiful property with lots to do.

Our family enjoyed the beautiful house and played pool and ping pong a lot! The bedrooms were nice, only one bedroom actually has it's own bathroom though. Finally, the bunk beds looked like a fun idea for a sleepover, but the mattresses were really thin. We had a small group so we doubled up the mattresses and that worked great. Small kids may have been more comfortable on them. The house and property were clean and beautiful. Owen had a nice fire set up ready to go at our leisure in the fire pit, which we did really enjoy. Easy checkin and out even though we were arriving late.

Best Weekend Ever!!

From the first email communication with Owen this was a friendly and seamless process. The house is clean and well appointed. We stayed for our 19th year of a girlfriends getaway and did not want to leave. We've stayed at a lot of wonderful places of the past 19 years, but this exceeded them all. This house is beautiful with gorgeous views of the water, spectacular sunrises and 360 degree bucolic vistas. The house gave so many options for lounging, dining and recreation; we didn't even use them all. The pool was perfection! We all agreed that we want to book family vacations here next year! Thank you Owen and Kristin for sharing your wonderful house!

Great place, but expected more

Beautiful location and property. Pool and property was beautiful. Expected the place to be slightly more equipped given price point (ie, there were no wine glasses, no hand towels, a few other basics) that would have made the stay that much better.

PRIVATE, RELAXING and PLENTY TO DO!

The home is set in a remote location giving us the privacy we enjoy and still only 10 minutes from fine dining or a great breakfast. We would start each day with a spectacular sunrise over the bay and go from there. We spent time everyday in a large beautiful private pool (very clean). Inside the house is a large dining area. Great for family gatherings (meals and family games). An adjacent room has a large screen TV with comfortable seating for my family of nine. All bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were very up to date and well kept. My experience with the owners was great. They met with my wife and I at the house and walked us through all the details, which made things very easy for us to begin our vacation. Highly recommend!!
