Nestled under a canopy of trees at the top of a hill, Jjajja's Cottage is the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind after a long Kampala day. You'll forget that you're in the heart of the city, waking up to the sound of birds (and sometimes monkeys) in this peaceful little house. Our little cottage, built originally for our great grandmother (Jjajja), is your home away from home.

Mukisa: Hi! I’m Mukisa or Kisa. Born in WA state and raised in Uganda (the best of both worlds.) I’m a PR & Media Marketing Coordinator but also a certified birth and postpartum doula and photographer. In my free time you can find me: singing, taking pictures, crocheting and/or eating. I speak Luganda as well as one year of Spanish on duolingo (lol) Aside from that, I hope you can join us at, Jjajjas Cottage.
