We had our Thanksgiving reunion with my family, families of my two brothers and my dad. We all enjoyed the spacious house, pool table, lots of puzzles, fully equipped kitchen, and the kayaks. The beds are decent enough. Clean bathrooms with quick hot water. They provided firewood, starters so we enjoyed wood burning fireplace and smores. To summarize, this is a lovely home to stay with a large group of family and friends. Would happily stay again!

The kitchen was full of spices. The best supplied kitchen for cooking and baking we have everd had. And we have been renting vrbos for 20 years. Lake toy were a big hit. As was the fire pit.We all had a great time, plenty of room.

Cedar Creek Trip

It was a great place for our group of 12 adults. The new appliances were fabulous in the kitchen. We enjoyed the fire pit, the deck, and the lily pad. Lots of room to spread out, but plenty or room in the common areas to be together. Our visit to Triple N Winery was an added bonus,

Wonderful stay….

We had a wonderful time at this home for our daughter’s 20th birthday. Luckily we had understanding guests when it came to sleeping arrangements. The Cons: 1. I had previously read some reviews about the futons not being ideal and thought it was just perspective. However, the futons were definitely not usable for sleeping…When laid out they are maybe 3 inches off the ground. So those were eliminated as options. The king size bed off of the game room, has a low spot in the left side so makes for an interesting sleeping arrangements. 2. Parking - plan ahead! The driveway is long and narrow that ends in a ball shaped spot. The owner had communicated about boat parking so we were prepared for that. However, we had to be strategic in parking for those staying and those only there for the day. Pros: 1. Well furnished! We had everything we needed to cook with and more! 2. Plenty of water toys! 3. Great pier and dock!

Beautiful Respite

Rented this location for our family reunion. Beautiful home, great location! Communication with the owner was exceptional!! There is a perfect swimming area next to the boat dock where the kids could swim and we adults could sit in the shade and still watch them from the dock. The house had everything we could need for cooking and everything is perfectly labeled with check out instructions easily available when we were ready to leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

15yo birthday lake celebration with friends and family.

If I could give Morgan and Kyle (the manager and host) 6 stars, I would. They were so kind helping me even before we got there with allowing me to change the date, not once but twice. Just so friendly. The house is great! We had 10 boys (14yo) and 7 adults for a bday weekend just this weekend and another large family vacation here a few years ago too. We had a great time both times. Nice location on the water too. The basement has a master bedroom with bathroom and there’s a game room attached. With 10 boys age 14, this was a perfect hangout. They stay up late and play pool, darts and go out and fish on the dock right out the back door of the basement. The parents on main floor and second floor aren’t disturbed and get great rest. Coffee on the covered balcony in the morning… and on and on. Check it out, you’ll LOVE it!

Awesome lake property

The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room inside and out so everybody wasn’t on too of each other. Great game room and kitchen, and the fishong at the dock was fantastic.

Lake house review

The house works great for a big group but is bit exaggerated on its sleeping space. Many of the listed spaces are actually just fold out chairs, not even futons. These are not functional for a normal adult to sleep on and very uncomfortable. Check in process is very easy and there is plenty of parking for a big group.

Fun Vacation House

Clean and well-appointed property. We had a large group, but there were plenty of towels, lots of silverware and cookware, toilet paper, etc., which isn't always the case for a large rental. We also had multiple cars (7) and boat trailers, and the parking situation was excellent. The cleanliness was beyond reproach, which is again one of our most important qualifications for a rental. This is definitely a five-star rental; however, there are a couple of things to note. Poison ivy is growing all around the hot tub area and needs to remedied quickly, as some of our crew had allergic reactions. Also, we planned to put our four teenagers on the futons listed in the game room. We were unable to comfortably sleep the four boys, who are all about 6 ft tall, on the chair-futons, so they ended up on the couches and bunking with some of the adults. I would call the futons best for little children. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again and were quite satisfied overall with the experience. Thank you to the owners and the host!

This property was true to the post. The house was wonderful and was able to sleep everyone comfortably. The accommodations were great and the host was responsive and lovely to work with. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to take their family for a long weekend.

Funtastic vacation home

We had a funtastic time staying in this home. We have stayed in many VRBO homes. Without a doubt this home was the most organized. We so appreciated the cleanliness, the guidebook to the house and the area, the amenities which includes all of the things we needed but forgot at home, the cleaning expectations and rules, and the added touches like being able to check in early on the arrival date and the CHRISTMAS tree. The entire 4 days were very peaceful and joyful. While our family of 10 staying in the house had plenty of room to spread out, it was also very accommodating to our extended family of 24 for carols, games and one meal a day. The open, warm family room was perfect for all of our inclusive activities. We are hoping this home will be available the next time we come to Cedar Creek.

Wonderful weekend at the lake!

The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Everything was very clearly communicated as far as check-in/check-out and all the amenities. We especially loved the kayaks, hot tub, and pool table. Plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep and hang out. Overall a super great experience! If anything, we wish we had made the trip longer so we could enjoy it more!

I am a software developer who I work hard and I play hard. I travel a lot, both to go home to visit family in the summers and for work reasons at other times. I rent the lake house when I am away so that others can enjoy it when I can't.
