Located within popular Golden Road Vineyards (GRV), this brand new, cozy two bedroom house has a backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Features brand new furnishings/appliances, front/back decks, full kitchen/bath, Wifi, Roku TV & fireplace. GRV is on 25 acres, has 5 acres of vines & a branch of the Mitchell River running around it (plus walking trail). Near Elkin, NC, GRV offers indoor/outdoor estate wine tastings/sales, music/food trucks in a relaxed & friendly environment. See GRV website.

One of my favorite times in NC! This house is in the perfect setting and the owners are so kind. It is also centrally located so easy drives to other vineyards. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

The cabin had everything we needed including coffee! It was so cutely decorated for Valentines Day, super clean and comfortable! Perfect place to unwind and the wines at Golden Road were some of our favorite on the trip. Will definitely stay here again

Friends did a weekend to visit the surrounding Wineries including Golden Road Vineyards. House was on this property so we finished the evening and walked down. Everything was great.

The hosts were extremely accommodating. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable. Since we were in the area to tour local wineries, the location was perfect. The floor plan is perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 separate bathrooms. The outdoor space is very inviting, especially the fire pits outside the tasting room of Golden Road Winery. BTW - we enjoyed out wine tasting experience at their winery. The village of Elkin is very quaint with some good restaurants. There was a fall festival in Elkin and Mt. Airy the weekend of our visit. You just have to experience the area for yourselves!

Great find

The 2 bedroom cottage was plenty of space for me and my wife ( and our little dog). The cottage is decorated very modern and nice, and very clean, with a great elevated deck overlooking woodlands. The wine tasting room is a very short walk out of the front door. The wines are very tasty ( we didn’t find one that we didn’t like), made with some unique grapes, producing some flavors that we hadn’t experienced in the past. The firepit located in the front yard of the tasting room overlooks the vineyard and the woodlands, making for a very relaxing experience. We loved our short overnight visit and plan on returning .

We had such a wonderful stay at the two‑bedroom cabin at Golden Road Vineyards, and we would absolutely stay here again. The cabin sits right on the property with a peaceful wooded view, and the family‑ and pet‑friendly atmosphere made the whole weekend feel welcoming. We had a small issue with the door lock when we arrived, but one quick call fixed it immediately. Inside, the cabin looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and well maintained. The Wi‑Fi worked great, which helped since our Verizon service was limited.We were visiting for a wine weekend with two friends, and the cabin was the perfect home base. Both bedrooms were comfortable, and although the master bed was impressively tall, everything else was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. Chad and Christa were wonderful hosts; they even arranged to have wine waiting for us since we arrived after the tasting room closed and offered a discount for staying on the property.A standout of the trip was the fantastic charcuterie class—fun, informative, and perfectly paired with their wines. We also happened to be there for the start of their Saturday entertainment and food trucks. Even with the rain, everything was smoothly moved indoors or under tents, and the atmosphere was great. They even put the Carolina Hurricanes playoff game on for us before the music started. The entire experience—from the cabin to the hospitality to the vineyard events—was outstanding, and we left already looking forward to our next visit.
