Very comfortable well located property

The apartment was exactly as listed, easy to locate, safe, gated community.Beds were comfortable, quiet properly, Kitchen had what we needed, check in and out were a breeze.Owner quick to respond with any questions.

My family and I had a terrible experience with this rental, and it ruined what should have been a special weekend. I booked on 9/13/25 for 10/3–10/4. This was my family’s very first VRBO stay, and they’ve already said they’ll never do it again.After driving over 5 hours from Austin, we arrived around 4:30pm (check-in was at 3). I realized I hadn’t received any key or entry instructions. I messaged the host with no reply, then called her. She apologized for not sending info and gave me a different apartment number. Once we finally got in, the place was filthy—dirty dishes in the sink, beds unmade, couch cushions thrown around. When I called the host, she admitted she didn’t even know if the cleaning had been done.We left so cleaners could come. Host said she’d notify me when it was ready, but I never heard back. After 2 hours I had to reach out myself. At 7pm, we returned to still find issues: a fake nail on the table, little roaches crawling around, filthy duvet covers, not enough toilet paper, no wash rags, and broken ceiling fans. I didn’t feel safe calling again because even after “cleaning,” the apartment was disgusting, and we needed a place to stay.We left worried roaches might have gotten into our bags. This was the dirtiest, most poorly managed rental I’ve ever seen, and the host’s lack of professionalism made it worse. This property should not be listed. It ruined our trip and my family has vowed never to use this host again after this nightmare.
