Great Place, Bad Owner

This is a nicely designed duplex with gray and black paint. It has two bedrooms plus an extra bed, and the bathrooms are between the bedrooms and the kitchen. The duplex is clean and welcoming and is located in a Hispanic neighborhood near the Fairgrounds. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude threatened our weekend. There were problems. !) Entry instructions were not emailed to me forty-eight hours before arriving. I had to research where to even call for the details. There is a permanent renter at the front door. Too bad my friend and I had to bother this man while we searched for our place - in the back of the building. 2) Too Hot? Too Cold? Too Bad! There is no thermostat to control the temperature. Calling once again the cohost, she said it is controlled by someone else and set at 74^. Good luck.. 3) Worse, there is no coffee maker! Another call to the cohost said coffee would be brought to our door. Okay, fresh hot coffee every morning, we thought. Nope. We found a box of nasty Nescafe Instant coffee hanging on our door knob. We drove to a Starbucks nearby to get our caffeine fix. 4) Just because we called these deficiencies to the owner's attention, "Edward" responded - If you don't like it, you are free to check out and find another place". ??? Huh? Who says these things to a customer? Edward does not like feedback and wrote as if he had a legal case against us. We were not going to let "Edward" ruin our weekend. We had to brush him off. I will not be coming here again.
