Julie was quick to respond to questions that we had. Our trip was great! The house was spacious, with a large kitchen for our party of six. Extra chairs were put out so that we had plenty of seating for dinner, cards and games. There was even a ramp in the garage that helped with my husband, who uses a walker. There were also lots of electrical outlets. We have stayed at other houses where we had to search behind beds or bring/buy power strips but not here. Everything was very convenient.The house was very close to downtown and shops, but not too close so we didn’t hear traffic. We never had issues with quickly navigating around town and the area. We stayed over the new year holiday and again had a great stay! Our first full day there, a nice young lady brought over homemade bread and Amish peanut butter and it was FANTASTIC! We highly recommend this house for your next trip to the Shipshewana area.

Fabulous, faith filled, and full of wonderful memories for us. This is a super clean house and it has such a welcoming way about it. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and you will see and hear the clip clopping of the Amish buggies passing by. The pics do not do it justice. It’s big! We will visit again. Thank you for the homemade bread and Amish peanut butter as an added bonus!

The location was perfect, just minutes from town and a variety of eateries, shopping and activities. The house is lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed, bright and homey - with an unusual and fun and relaxing addition of not only a jetted tub in the master but a walk in tub in a separate bath area.Julie, our host, responded immediately to all communication and was so welcoming. We especially appreciated the fresh loaf of bread and Amish peanut butter she had waiting for us on arrival. Altogether a 5 star experience and we look forward to another stay the next time we are in the area.

First thing we noticed when walking in the door was how at home we felt. This house was the cleanest we've experienced of any of our VRBO stays. It was a pleasant surprise to find a loaf of homemade bread and special Shipshewana peanut butter. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable. There was not a thing we would give a negative on. It was an excellent stay.

This cabin is so cute! Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Shipshewana. Loved hearing the clip-clop of the horses as they passed by!

This cabin was the perfect home for our family gathering/reunion.. The description of the property as well as the pics were very accurate. It was very close and convenient to everything in town and the front porch was so peaceful to sit and watch the horse and buggies go by. Julie was a great host and very accommodating . She sent over homemade bread snd Peanut Butter for us to enjoy! The cabin was very clean and well stocked just as the description explained! I have stayed in several VRBO’s over the years and this one is hands down the best experience I have ever had. Anyone looking to stay in Shipshewana this beautiful home will check all the boxes! We will be back to stay again!

Biking vacation

This home was excellent for us. We wanted a place to stay that was close to the Pumpkinvine trail. We could ride from the house to the trail in less than 5 minutes. The owner was also gracious to give us use of the garage to store our bikes. House is located on a quiet side street with little traffic. It was very clean except we kept finding pincher worms in the bathroom. Peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything. Overall a great stay.

Fun Family Gathering

Very clean, great location! We could have used another couple of place setting dishes. Coffee was great but had to bring our own creamer. Those are small things. Overall we would come back! Lots to see and do. The bikes were a PLUS!! Thank you!

Over all it was good. The location was great. Close enough to explore and enjoy Shipshewana.The second bathrooms shower was not easily used. It would be better to have a real shower. The Internet didn't work well for us. There could be more plates dishes and flat ware.

Great Little Getaway

Relaxing & Comfortable Atmosphere

Our group enjoyed our weekend. The only complaint was no television (my fault). I forgot about the football games this weekend. The ramp was very handy especially when lugging in the necessities. The sounds of the horses was very relaxing.

Quilting chicks

The place is beautiful - welcoming. Difficult to find - we arrived after dark and there is nothing to indicate that we were at the correct place. Wrong number on sign hanging from the front porch - which we weren't able to see from the road anyways. No fire number indicating the driveway - which is in the back of the house. The house was lovely - clean and accommodating. Close to Shipshewana and Pumpkinvine Nature Trail
