Small simple apartment centrally located to everything in town. Walk or ride.

The apartment is on the edge of the business district. A short walk to all the attractions. A quick two block to Lake Superior, or a block from the local brewery. Local bakery also only a few blocks away, as well as all of Ashland's local businesses. As you enter or exit the town, it is only one block off of US Highway 2 and makes finding your destination much easier.

The host was very welcoming making sure we had everything we needed. The place was very clean and cozy. The furniture and the bed were very comfortable and we even made ourselves a homemade meal. I really liked the l the seasonal decor touches, like the little Fall colored throws and towels along with the little counter knickknacks. It was very quiet and homey feeling. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed this apartment which was well equipped and had a great location. We used it as a base for day trips for hiking and sightseeing the waterfalls of the area. It was close to down town and the lake walk. A great place to stay!

Nice quiet convenient stay

Perfect peaceful place to rest our heads at night while in town visiting family. Nice and clean, convenient location to get to anything in town. Cute little farmer’s market nearby in walking distance (as well as the Ashland Baking Company which we highly recommend!). Bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable and great water pressure in the shower. We will definitely book again in the future.

Bayfield getaway

We thought this was such a wonderful choice for our mini vacation. A really nice small efficiency apartment rather than a smaller motel room.We loved having the availability of a kitchen, a full size refrigerator and dinette area.And a good size living room as we did relax in the apartment a good part of our time. Mike was so great to work with and made the experience easy. He was very quick to respond to any inquiry i had.Another point was location. Ashland is a great community, and so close to Bayfield and Red Cliff. We enjoyed it so much we hope to stay at this apartment the next time we visit the Bayfield area.

Great February Getaway

This quaint little space was a wonderful locale for Book Across the Bay weekend. It is conveniently located to downtown Ashland (particularly Chequamegon Co-op, Black Cat Coffeehouse, Ashland Baking Company, etc.). Mike and Kaye were respectful of privacy and also responsive when needing to reach out. Utterly friendly people!I loved the space upon arrival: Clean, organized, and providing of resources (Wi-Fi, Ashland suggestion). It was very comfortable and felt right at home.Will look forward to booking this space again for a retreat in Chequamegon Bay country. Thank you to Kaye and Mike for cultivating a wonderful place to be the hub for my weekend adventure!
