Welcome to the Sage House, located 30 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park, your tranquil oasis in the heart of the mesmerizing desert landscape. Nestled on 2.5 acres of serene beauty, this retreat invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and embrace the stillness of nature.
The space
Stargazers' Paradise: Unwind in our inviting bathtub and lose yourself in the celestial display overhead. The unobstructed desert skies provide an awe-inspiring canvas for your evening relaxation.

Outdoor Fun: Embrace the great outdoors with a game of cornhole or horseshoes in the crisp desert air. Challenge your friends and family or simply enjoy the wide-open spaces around you.

Cookout Delight: Fire up the grill for a delightful cookout experience. The smell of barbecue wafting through the desert air is sure to awaken your senses and enhance your stay.

Entertainment Hub: Explore the side house, equipped with a TV projector connected to Amazon's Fire Stick, a record player, and a bar. Unwind on the sofa-bed and enjoy a movie night or groove to your favorite tunes.

Fitness Corner: Keep active during your stay with yoga mats and weights available for your use. Stay fit while surrounded by the tranquility of the desert landscape.

The location and amenities were fantastic. There were some areas that weren’t as clean as one would expect (eg, we couldn’t use the pullout couch because it was so dirty).

It isn’t intended to function as a pullout bed, which is why we provide an air mattress for additional sleeping arrangements. That said, we’ll review the couch to make sure everything is in good condition and presented as expected. My name is Pouyan. I played in a band out of high school for about a decade before settling down into the videogame industry. My fiance is working on her Masters degree in therapy. We love hosting, creating experiences for others, and bringing people together. This is our very first property and we're super excited to share it with you.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

First and foremost we love how secluded this property is. So serene and peaceful, you can hear your thoughts once the sounds of the city starts to fade away. The stars are so bright out here too when the moon's not too bright. Not too far away you have the Integratron, which self-proclaims sonic perfection and draws a lot of good-hearted people. Nearby there's also really great food (try La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room) as well as great live music (Check out Pappy & Harriet's). Of course, there's Joshua Tree National Park too. The main reason though is good people. Every time we spend time in J Tree, we meet the most amazing people.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Outdoor bathtub is cool, and definitely try the outdoor shower. It's so freeing. I personally like to set up the projector and watch a movie because I love movies. But every once in a while, I'm convinced by the group to come out and share a drink at the hot tub, and I'm always happy I did. To me it's unique in that, as contained and secluded as it is, I rarely have the urge to leave. I'm very recharged after spending time out there.
