Prof's Place: by IU Stadium, Griffy Lake/Woods

Totally private, newly renovated 1200 sq ft self-enclosed ground-level home with separate entrance, hardwood floors, quartz kitchen countertop, and top-of-the-line appliances. No stairs. 2 acres of paradise only steps from the IU football stadium, other sports arenas, Assembly Hall, Griffy Lake, and the IU golf course. IU professor lives on the main floor of the house upstairs. There is no shared space. We will be as quiet as possible upstairs so as not to disturb you. We hope you do the same for us. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. Please review the House Rules.

Huge living room (with twin sofa bed), dining area, two bedrooms (each with queen bed), one study (with queen sofa bed), huge kitchen, full bath.

Guests can easily park at least three cars outside.

Please be sure to register all guests. I can use the exterior Ring security camera to check the number of guests entering the premises. (I have no interior cameras anywhere.)

Great stay - return guests

This was a return visit for us, after having a positive experience last year. We were in town for the Little 500 bike race, so the convenience to the stadiums was perfect. It is also a great landing spot for visiting family in Bloomington. The beds are comfortable, and everyone commented about how well they slept. The unit had everything we needed, and communications with Ethan were great. We will likely be back again!

Great place; even better host!

We chose this spot because it was close to our kids’ apartment and also close to the basketball game we were going to. It is a great location and an impeccably clean house. Our host was friendly and very helpful. I would happily stay again!

Wonderful Family Get Together

Our family of six had a fantastic stay at Prof's Place. The unit is spacious, well-appointed and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and Ethan is a great host. We highly recommend this property and plan to re-book for our next trip to Bloomington!

Perfect location for IU Football games.

An adorable house located in a beautiful and quiet area within walking distance to the football stadium. Can’t recommend enough.

Excellent Experience

My family and I came down for family weekend. My oldest daughter is a freshman at IU. I was late to the party when it came to booking lodging. I found this listing. I originally booked it for me and my 2 daughters. With the date approaching, we had some change in plans and I had to add some family members. The owner, Ethan, was amazing and so easy to work with. Every time I had to apologetically change plans to add more family members, he always responded immediately with "no problem, I'll take care that for you " 100% would stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place to.stay in Bloomington.

Great basement apartment!

I’ve stayed here multiple times. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. It’s always clean and check in is easy. Ethan is a great host and very quick to respond to messages.

Quiet, comfortable and clean.

Just like the title says… quiet, comfortable and clean. Check in was easy and the house was as advertised. Ethan, the host was a text away if there were any issues which there weren’t. I was in town for work and actually booked a second week while staying there. 10/10 will book again if available when I come back.

Well Laid Out Home

Ethan, has setup a lovely property well laid out with great appliances. The neighborhood was safe and perfect for my group as we traveled through.
